Summary

Deadly waters surround the Monarch when he becomes Wide Wale's prisoner in Part 2 of the Morphic Trilogy.

Backstory Reference

Some of the backstory in this episode comes from:

Season 3, Episode 8: "Tears of a Sea Cow"

Previously Dr. Dugong's only appearance in the series was in this episode, which involved the Monarch and Dr. Mrs. as his arch (due to not being able to arch Dr. Venture). The scene ended with the Monarch killing Dr. Dugong with a bazooka at extremely close range.

Season 6, Episode 7: "A Party For Tarzan"

Wandering Spider appears in 21's dream and we see his widow later in the episode. He was (apparently) killed and buried by 21 in order to eliminate him as Dr. Venture's next arch as well as to frame the Blue Morpho as the culprit to take the heat off the Monarch who was suspected of being the Blue Morpho.
