Want Some Storyboards?

This has been making the rounds the last few days, but Venture Bros. storyboarding couple extraordinaire Stephen DeStefano and Siobhan DeStefano have put some Venture-related stuff up on eBay to help pay for some hefty medical bills for their cat, Lola. Not only can you help out two awesome folks who work hard on the show, but you can also own some pretty rare and awesome production art from the show to boot. Check out the full set of auctions on eBay and you can visit Jackson's blog for the scoop on the storyboards!

The two scenes are the Hunter/Brock strip club scene from "ORB" and the seduction of Dean in "Dr. Quymn, Medicine Woman". Also worth noting is Jackson mentions they are about halfway through the sound mix for the season four finale and the season 4, volume 2 DVD will potentially be out in late March.

Operation P.R.O.M. Promo

Finally, after, uh, days of waiting the promo for the Venture Bros. season four finale, "Operation P.R.O.M" is here.

As the promo makes sure to note, the finale will be a full hour and airs November 21st at the usual 11:30pm eastern/pacific.

Official New York Comic-Con 2010 Video

The wait is finally over! For those of you who, like me, missed NYCC 2010 this year, Adult Swim has kindly put up the Venture Bros. panel which contains Doc Hammer, Jackson Publick and Mike Sinterniklaas (the voice of Dean, if you didn't know). Also I'm sure there are antics and probably funny things. Go watch!

The Silent Capsule

It's finally here! You guys know the drill. I feel like I missed a bunch of stuff in this one. Enjoy!

The Official Word On Brock vs. Hunter

So for those of you still reeling from Hunter being the champion, I managed to get in touch with Doc Hammer to get his thoughts on the matter.

Jackson & Doc NYCC Interview at Newsarama

If you love Jackson & Doc and also videos of Jackson & Doc then have I got a thing for you. Newsarama has put up an interview with the esteemed Venture Bros. creators conducted at the beginning of New York Comic-Con. It's a pretty short interview (about five minutes) but it might just satisfy your burning desire for more Venture Bros. for those five minutes. Maybe.

Weekly Videosodes: 11/1/2010

Happy Monday, friends! Of course no new episode of Venture Bros. aired yesterday, but you can still finally check out "The Silent Partners" online (unless you already bought it last week). Enjoy! If you need to purchase this episode there are some links in last week's Weekly Videosodes for you.

Season 4 Volume 1 DVD Review

Happy Halloween, friends! Since we're in a minor hiatus before the season finale (enjoy a rerun of "Bright Lights, Dean City" tonight, by the way) and I'm currently slacking off on starting the capsule for "The Silent Partners", I decided to write a quick-ish review of the Venture Bros. Season 4, Volume I DVD for your enjoyment. I'm not sure if it's even going to be overly useful to anyone who frequents this site, but check it out anyway if you're on the fence about buying the DVD, or if you're just curious what's on it.

Wave Two of BifBangPow! Figures Up For Pre-Order

For those of you who have been waiting for the second wave of Venture Bros. action figures from BifBangPow!, wait no more, because Entertainment Earth has the next two sets up for pre-order! They're both $37.99, as per usual, and come in sets of two, also as per usual. You can check out Dr. Orpheus and Phantom Limb or Hank and Dr. Girlfriend. Note that the designs aren't the final ones (though they're close), and they're expected to ship in March of 2011.

Heroes & Scientists: It's Over!

The votes have been tallied and the final battle of Heroes & Scientists is over! With a surprise victory, Hunter narrowly edged out Brock by a mere four percentage points (or roughly 30 votes). It's a surprise victory given Brock's dominance throughout the tournament, though it does bring up an interesting question since I think this is one of the few 'Brock vs.' battles that might actually hold water. We'll see though! Official comment to come later. Maybe. Until then, congrats to Hunter and thanks to everyone who participated!

Okay, Venturoos. Here's what ya get for the Extras, at least on the DVD version. I felt it was a little light, but that's just my opinion. Deleted Scenes (as always) - Some are B&W sketches with the dialog, others are animated with the dialog. Ghost in the Pro-Blem - An extended view of the distorted images of events from the Pro-BLEM's point of view. Maybe there are some clues hidden in it if you like frame-by-frame advancing. Maybe not. Sirena Goes Off... - Cristin Milioti ad-libbing way more dialog than the script calls for. Poor Rocco. Promo - Basically the season 7 promo. Maybe there's Easter Eggs to find. I haven't done any extensive searching yet. If anyone finds any feel free to post them here!
