First Still From The Venture Bros. Movie

First Still From The Venture Bros. Movie
Rejoice, for Jackson has tweeted the first still from The Venture Bros. movie. Along with an image from the pilot episode, "The Terrible Secret of Turtle Bay" which aired twenty years ago back in February of 2023. Safe to assume the movie will come out some time later this year, but nothing specific has been announced yet! Happy 20th, all!
That is so awesome.

Cool beans! Hard to believe that it's been 20 years. What a run. I discovered the show after season one had first aired, when it was in reruns, but before AS finally announced it had been renewed for a second season.

Glad to see things are moving forward. Thanks for the update, Mike (I know you meant 2003 in your post).

Hard to believe it's been 20 years of being a Venture Bros. fan (I happened to watch the pilot's first airing, but didn't become a true fanboy until I re-watched Season 1 before Season 2 aired). I'm still sad for the Season 8 we never got, but every bit has been a gift and I'm thankful for it.

Looking forward to the movie that I will greedily purchase as soon as it is available.

Yo-S-I indeed!

Always good to get progress news. I got into VB around the same time as you guys, though I probably started with the Season 2 premiere and went back to Season 1 to catch up after a few episodes. I know it's a long shot, but hopefully the movie blows everybody out of the water and we get more content in one form or another.

Oh, and OSI Man on the left (stage-right), good technique! Off-eye open, but unfocused, dominant eye on the 'scope.

I hope to god they release a new shirt, and that I can get an XL before they run out and I'm stuck with an M.

Hanktastic news- can't wait for it to get here! I'm sure whatever happens, it'll be a fitting finale and leave us with plenty of questions, as is Doc and Jackson's wont.

I'm wondering if it has a title, or will they keep it simple like "The Venture Bros. Movie"?

Thank you for the link! I'm excited to see what Jackson and Doc gift us in the movie. I hope there is more Venture Bros. after the movie, but I'm certain I will pre-order it once it is available to order.

Synopsis and cast too!

“In The Venture Bros.: Radiant Is the Blood of the Baboon Heart, a nationwide manhunt for Hank Venture leads to untold dangers and unexpected revelations, while the Monarch is literally out for Dr. Venture’s blood. An imposing evil from the past reemerges to wreak havoc on the Ventures, the Guild, and even the Monarch marriage—it will take friends and foes alike to restore the Ventures’ world to order… or end it once and for all.”

The voice cast includes the returning James Urbaniak as Dr. Venture, Patrick Warburton as Brock Samson, Michael Sinterniklaas as Dean Venture, Chris McCulloch as Hank Venture, and The Venture Bros. co-creator Doc Hammer as Dr. Mrs. The Monarch. (Hammer and series co-creator Jackson Publick also wrote the script, and Publick directed.) Hmm, sounds like the pee-pee cancer strikes again! Especially happy that the Order of the Triad's getting one last run-around. I'm interested to see just how many characters Doc and Jackson will be voicing and who they're bringing back.

Maybe we finally found the 12s (I think there's still a clone or two that's unaccounted for).

Seeing as Ben is back that is a distinct possibility. My initial reaction was that it was Myra in Hank's clothes but we don't see Joanna Adler in the listed credits, so...

It's still possible- Myra could be dead, or maybe they just didn't mention her. Mia Barron's not there either, and it'd be a shame to not include one last Brock/Mol scene ...

Thank you for the links! I'm excited to see the cast list to confirm all the usual suspects will return. Very glad to see Ben return (that character has more backstory to give us), a surprising casting choice for Bobbi St. Simone (in a good way), and who is Mantilla? Will we see Molotov return and see what she has been up to since her last appearance? I'm just so excited.

I'm going to pre-order this so....make it available already!

Still hoping there is more VB content after this movie. Go Team Venture!

Okay, Venturoos. Here's what ya get for the Extras, at least on the DVD version. I felt it was a little light, but that's just my opinion. Deleted Scenes (as always) - Some are B&W sketches with the dialog, others are animated with the dialog. Ghost in the Pro-Blem - An extended view of the distorted images of events from the Pro-BLEM's point of view. Maybe there are some clues hidden in it if you like frame-by-frame advancing. Maybe not. Sirena Goes Off... - Cristin Milioti ad-libbing way more dialog than the script calls for. Poor Rocco. Promo - Basically the season 7 promo. Maybe there's Easter Eggs to find. I haven't done any extensive searching yet. If anyone finds any feel free to post them here!
