Welcome back, friends! Ready for a brand spankin' new episode of The Venture Bros.? Yes? Oh, good! This week's offering is entitled "Bright Lights, Dean City" and includes super-secret special guest star Nathan Fillion as some kind of spider-type-man. Also there's going to be adventures I'm sure. NYCC Press Panel With Jackson and Doc

Nevermind yesterday's Venture Bros. public panel with Jackson & Doc at New York Comic-Con, Suvudu has video of a press-only panel with those guys. Think of it like the public panel only calmer and with fewer costumed people.

Thanks to The Venture Bros. Blog for finding this.

Who Would Win: The Final Four

A little late, but Who Would Win continues with the final four enemies! In the last round we saw David Bowie and Henchmen 21 & 24 with commanding wins over The Monarch & Dr. Girlfriend and Torrid, respectively. Henry Killinger also pulled off a decisive but not quite as brutal win over Phantom Limb. And in an upset victory Truckulese beat out Sgt. Hatred by 10% to continue his Cindarella story and get to the final four. Will he be able to upset Dr. Killinger though? Only time will tell. Go vote!

Everybody Comes To Hank's Capsule

The Mantis-Eye capsule for the latest Venture Bros. episode is up! I know I missed some stuff, so let me know, folks. You guys know the drill.

Weekly Giveaways Still Going: Blu-Ray!

Which should not to be confused with 1940s boxer 'Blue' Ray Jones (okay that guy doesn't exist). Anyway, there's a new weekly giveaway for you all to partake in. Enter to win season three on Blu-Ray! You know you want it!

Who Would Win? Round Three

Yup, it's still going! Round two is over and it was actually pretty lopsided. The Monarch/Dr. Girlfriend, Bowie, Henchmen 21 & 24, Phantom Limb and Killinger all had easy victories. Sgt. Hatred had a decisive but not as commanding win over Henchman 1/Zero/Scott Hall and Torrid managed to squeak by Kevin and Tim-Tom by over 50 votes for an upset. The closest match was Monstroso vs. Truckulese with the big rig managing to jackknife his way to victory by a slim 11 votes.

Round three features some tough battles, including what is sure to be an epic battle between The Monarch and Dr. Mrs. and David Bowie as well as Phantom Limb vs. Henry Killinger. Remember, one vote per hour is allowed for the next three days! Go!

Sneak Peek and Promo for Bright Lights, Dean City

Over at Adult Swim Video you can catch a fancy sponsored sneak peek at this Sunday's upcoming Venture Bros. episode "Bright Lights, Dean City". This is a totally different preview than the one they showed after "Everybody Comes To Hank's" last night, in case you were curious.

Thanks to Robert in the comments for mentioning this.

Weekly Videosodes: 10/4/2010

I'm going to make this post every week for when new video episodes of Venture Bros. are put up on the various Adult Swim web sites. Granted that's only US and UK right now, but I figure it's a nice way to consolidate them. This week we get "Any Which Way But Zeus" (or "Every Which Way But Zeus" depending on who you ask).

Discussion: Everybody Comes To Hank's

Evening, ladies and gents, tonight's big, big show is none other than the brand-spankin' new episode of The Venture Brothers television program called "Everybody Comes To Hank's". It's sure to set your tails in a twist! Here's the place where we can all get together and chat about the show. Say whatever you want, but remember, things from the episode will be spoiled within, so enter at your own risk!

For those of you looking for a little something extra why not enter to win a genuine musical record or exercise your right to vote? Have a lovely evening and don't forget to tip your waitress!

Who Would Win: Round 2

Three days are up and I've tallied all the votes and we have the winners of round one! Nothing overly surprising. The Grand Galactic Inquisitor upset Baron Underbheit by 26 votes. The other upsets were Zero/Scott Hall over Red Mantle/Dragoon by 53 votes and Monstroso over Watch & Ward by 72 votes. The closest battle was Mr. Monday vs. Tigeriffic which showed as 50% to 50% but only because of a rounding error. Mr. Monday actually won by two votes.

Anyway, same rules apply, you can vote on each battle once an hour, three days of voting with this round ending Wednesday at noon (EST). Get to it!

Okay, Venturoos. Here's what ya get for the Extras, at least on the DVD version. I felt it was a little light, but that's just my opinion. Deleted Scenes (as always) - Some are B&W sketches with the dialog, others are animated with the dialog. Ghost in the Pro-Blem - An extended view of the distorted images of events from the Pro-BLEM's point of view. Maybe there are some clues hidden in it if you like frame-by-frame advancing. Maybe not. Sirena Goes Off... - Cristin Milioti ad-libbing way more dialog than the script calls for. Poor Rocco. Promo - Basically the season 7 promo. Maybe there's Easter Eggs to find. I haven't done any extensive searching yet. If anyone finds any feel free to post them here!
