Final Three Episode Summaries Revealed
Many thanks to Char in the comments for finding these. The episode previews for the final three episodes of the season have been revealed by IGN. ¡Viva los Muertos!, Showdown at Cremation Creek, Part I and the previously unnamed season finale now known to be Showdown at Cremation Creek, Part II. I've added them to the capsule pages for each episode. I won't paste them here in case some might consider them spoilers, but suffice to say it looks like the season's ending is going to be pretty epic.
Also I know there has been an influx of comment spam recently, and I think I may have found a solution to that which will hopefully work for at least a little while. It's not 100% but it's already caught sixteen spammers in the last five hours, so we shall see. Keep your fingers crossed, kids!

More Questions!?
It's been up for a day or two now, but if you want to check it out, part two of Ask Jackson & Doc is up on AS.com. Even more stuff is covered, such as the writing process, Jonny Quest, Bauhaus and Doc's testicles. That last sentence is a something I never thought I'd write.
State of the Dinner
Finally, finally I've finished the State Dinner capsule/notes/screengrabs. Took me almost two weeks, but whatever, it's not like you guys are paying me to work quickly! Or even paying me at all. What's that about? Anyway, now I just have like fifty million e-mails to wade through with various notes for every other episode under the sun. Some day. You guys know what to do.
I Know Why the Caged Bird Kills Belated Discussion
Oops, sorry about that. Been busy with random crap this week so Venture-related things accidently took a back seat and I forgot to make this update yesterday. Anyway, I Know Why the Caged Bird Kills is now up on Adult Swim Fix and will of course also be airing on Sunday night at the usual time. You can talk about the episode here, and of course there will probably be spoilers in the comments, so don't read them if you want to be surprised. I swear I'll be on time next week!
Part One of Ask Team Venture
You may remember when I mentioned AS was having a thing where you could write letters to Jackson and Doc and they'd answer them on the AS web site. Well that's finally come to fruition, and you can check out part one at Adult Swim.com. There are some good questions, and some crazy evangelizing fan questions, but all in all it's pretty good, and you get a taste of classic Jackson and Doc humor/information hybrid (humormation, or maybe informuor) that was present on the season one DVD commentary. Part two will be up next week.
Publick Enemy
Not really, but there's another update at Journal of Jackson Publick (of the live nature) with a picture being used in an upcoming episode as well as production news. They're currently editing the second to last episode, which means the season is nearly complete which makes sense since there are four episodes airing in the next four weeks and that will be it for season two. So sad, but it's been a fun and worthwhile ride, I'm sure you agree. Hopefully season three won't take so damned long to renew, though I did enjoy time off from writing capsules, but sometimes it's just not about the guy who runs the crazy fan site that's not officially affiliated with the show. You know?
Fallen Arches Is Go!
Ahead of schedule, I had some free time and inspiration so Fallen Arches is fully cap'd, capsule'd and note'd for your pleasure. You guys know the drill.
Guess Who's Coming to State Discussion?
Gotta mix it up a little, eh? Anyway, it's now 6pm on Friday, meaning the newest episode of Venture Bros. should be up on AS Fix if you want to check it out. For those of you who can't/won't then it will of course air on Adult Swim at 10:30pm this coming Sunday. As always you can talk about the episode here, but if you don't want any jokes or plotlines or whatever spoiled, you're better off staying away from the comments.
Edit: I bumped the timestamp on this update to the 10th since it was sort of burried under a bunch of other updates and the episode actually airs tonight. Hopefully the database won't be down too much!

Jackson's Playhouse
Time for the monthly update at Publick Nuisance to top off today's abnormal amount of updates. Lots of stuff about the upcoming episodes (there are four left, five if you count State Dinner which hasn't aired yet but is on ASFix), the season two DVD (yes, there will be one) and even... season three? Might there not be a year long wait before a renewal announcement this time? Be still my heart. Jackson also recaps Dragon-Con a bit and answers some questions about the continuity errors present in season two due to the episode airing order (VEN before Assassinanny, and Love-Bheits possibly before Twenty Years) and even explains the sourpussin' joke in Twenty Years to Midnight that had so many of us puzzled. So yeah, go check it out.
We Demand Dragon-Con Coverage!
Okay fine. Doc Hammer has some pics and a bit of a recap up on his MySpace thing. All the pictures are stolen from various people and places, but Doc gives the play by play for each one. The first panel was solely given by Jackson and Doc, so fans got a full hour to pick their brains without any drunken intrusions from Dino Stamatopoulos. The panel on the following day was a complete Adult Swim panel with various creators and writers. I'm sure Adult Swim.com will have video of the events up in the coming days.
Oh, and the episode shown was I Know Why the Caged Bird Kills which won't be airing for two weeks (9/24), so folks in attendance got to see it a full three weeks ahead of schedule. Not bad.
