Newer Sneak Peek at "A Very Venture Halloween"

Since the existing sneak peeks have all been the same clip (the one shown at Dragon*Con) Adult Swim saw it fit to release a brand new one. There are only five days to go before BRAND NEW VENTURE BROS, but why not wet your whistle a little early? Nobody will judge you. The YouTube version is embedded below but you can also watch the version on Adult Swim Video if that's your thing. Thanks to TheEvilEye in the comments for pointing it out and Robert for sending it in!

Official Video From The Venture Bros. Panel at NYCC 2012

Adult Swim has released the full video of the Venture Bros. panel from this year's New York Comic Con. The panel included Jackson and Doc as well as Mike Sinterniklaas (voice of Dean) and Paul Boocock (voice of Jonas Venture Sr.) though the sections where they present clips (including the sizzle reel) are not included, presumably so they can debut them separately. In the meantime check out the panel, "Let's All Smoking":

Season 5 Sizzle Reel From NYCC Panel

If you've read up on the Venture Bros. panel from this year's recently departed NYCC then you know that Jackson and Doc showed off a sizzle reel for season 5, which is to say a collection of quick, punchy but unrelated clips... set to music. Okay it might just be a different name for a trailer. Regardless, one was shown and while I don't know if it will ever come to Adult Swim's online video service, someone at the panel was nice enough to record it on their phone or other camera-enabled device. It's not the super best quality but it's taken with a pretty steady hand so it's not like watching The Blair Witch Project or anything. Thanks to commenter Hank for pointing this one out:

NYCC 2012 Venture Bros. Coverage

Crack reporter Robert Sullivan sent me a bunch of NYCC coverage links before I ever had a chance to find them myself, so he gets all the credit here. If you need coverage of the Venture Bros. events from this year's New York Comic Con, here it is!

Announcing: Too Art For TV 6

Those of you in the New York City area may be familiar with the Too Art For TV exhibits over the last five years. The exhibit was founded by Venture Bros. color supervisor Liz Artinian and has featured some amazing art made by folks in the animation industry. This year Too Art kicks off on Friday, November 9th, but with its own gallery. Rather than renting out a place for one month out of the year, as with the past exhibits, they are planning on a dedicated gallery called Bunnycutlet that will open along with the start of Too Art For TV 6. So, here's where you come in:

Bunnycutlet Gallery, founded by Venture Bros. Color Supervisor Liz Artinian, is pleased to debut its new space in Williamsburg, Brooklyn with Too Art for TV Year 6, New York's premiere art exhibit for the animation industry, on Friday, Nov 9th from 6 to 10PM.

We're hoping to make the new Bunnycutlet Gallery space a permanent home for the personal works of animation artists in NYC. We've launched a Kickstarter to ensure that the gallery can remain open for at least one year. We have some awesome pins, prints, & paintings available for those who are interested in donating, including a limited edition signed print by Jackson Publick. Jackson himself voiced his support of the project in a video.

So there you go! If you can you should contribute some money to the Kickstarter campaign. There are some pretty cool rewards if you do (especially around the $125 mark), including some signed prints by Jackson. The gallery and exhibit will also open on November 9th if you want to check them out. Keep a lookout on the Bunnycutlet website for more info as well.

In Case You Somehow Didn't Know: A Very Venture Halloween

Adult Swim has the same preview that Entertainment Weekly had up, so if you still haven't checked that out here's another opportunity. And of course in a mere two weeks "A Very Venture Halloween" will air in all its glory on Adult Swim. That's Sunday, October 28th, 2012 at 11:30pm. This probably won't be the last time that I tell you, but for now keep it on your schedule, okay? What else do you have to do anyway?

Quick Clip From A Very Venture Halloween

Entertainment Weekly has snagged themselves a quick clip from the upcoming "A Very Venture Halloween". If you watched the Let's All Smoking videos it's present in there, though this one is better quality (the one shown at Dragon*Con is also much longer) but for those of you who didn't here's a reminder that yes, new Venture Bros. is indeed on the way.

"A Very Venture Halloween" To Air October 28th at 11:30pm

Some of you may have noticed a change to the schedule, and indeed you are not seeing things. The Venture Bros. Halloween special, which seems to be called "A Very Venture Halloween", will air at 11:30pm on Sunday, October 28th, so mark your calendars!

Jackson and Doc At New York Comic Con 2012

If you're going to be in the neighborhood of New York City around October 12th and craving one more convention with our fearless Venture Bros. co-creators, Jackson Publick and Doc Hammer, then I have good news for you! New York Comic Con exists! Jackson and Doc will be there with a panel on Friday and an autograph session on Saturday. Need more? Well, so far that's it, but there's plenty of other fun stuff to do at NYCC. If you're only there for The Venture Bros. though, there's a schedule for that. Unfortunately I can't make it to NYCC this year, so there won't be a poorly shot Ask Jackson & Doc video this year. I do hope to get some more giveaways and other stuff underway in the coming months though, so keep a lookout for that.

Entertainment Earth Won't Be At NYCC

Mentioned in the last news update is the possibility of a second signing with Jackson and Doc at the Entertainment Earth booth. However after noticing that they weren't listed in the exhibitors list on the NYCC site I asked them about it on Twitter and they informed me that they're not scheduled for NYCC this year. So if you were planning on picking up one of the figures there and getting it signed by Jackson and Doc you should purchase them beforehand and bring them to the convention with you. This also means that the two Adult Swim events (panel and signing) will likely be your only chances to see Jackson and Doc, so get to it!

Okay, Venturoos. Here's what ya get for the Extras, at least on the DVD version. I felt it was a little light, but that's just my opinion. Deleted Scenes (as always) - Some are B&W sketches with the dialog, others are animated with the dialog. Ghost in the Pro-Blem - An extended view of the distorted images of events from the Pro-BLEM's point of view. Maybe there are some clues hidden in it if you like frame-by-frame advancing. Maybe not. Sirena Goes Off... - Cristin Milioti ad-libbing way more dialog than the script calls for. Poor Rocco. Promo - Basically the season 7 promo. Maybe there's Easter Eggs to find. I haven't done any extensive searching yet. If anyone finds any feel free to post them here!
