Check Out The Venture Bros. Special Extended Trailer
As if you needed another reason to tune in Monday night at midnight eastern time (11pm central), here's Adult Swim's trailer for the episode, which is potentially named ("All This And Gargantua-2", but I have no idea just yet). I'll just leave you two alone:
- by Hank
"All This and Gargantua-2": The Ventures and their stellar crew head out into the final frontier of deep, deep space on an epic adventure to the Gargantua-2 space station that is destined to change everything the world knows about the Ventureverse.

and according to Jackson it's the biggest episode of the series!! I'm simultaneously excited and terribly nervous for these fictional characters, it looks like all out war. Jan. 12, 2015, 10:25pm

OK - it's new Venture Bros, as precious as gold - I'm going to do a massive theory post that I can look back on and see how much I picked up! Apologies for length sort of but damn I am excited about this...
Observations:
--Gargantua 2! Jonas Jr.'s opened an updated version of Daddy Jonas' Gargantua space station and is renting it out to entertain rich people, and making a mint. The Pirate Captain's there - no ex-Mrs. Invisible or Rocket? Guess a space station's no place for a toddler...
--Action Man and Rose. Still together.
--Monarch and Gary are GOING TO SPACE. Looks like the childhood home is in as much disrepair on the inside as on the outside... and the Mrs. seems not to be in the scene?
--Taking off from the Venture Compound? Did they steal that rocket?
--Brock putting a knife to Hank's throat? That's weird.
--Watch and Ward breaking into their own entrance room. Looks like the Mrs. has been hanging out there for a while.
--Super cool gambling facilities and OH HAI REVENGE SOCIETY, you've added a few members!! Radical Left, woo!!
--Brock is undercover in a cowboy... suit... thing... this is a reference I'm not getting
--The Investors are here, out of costume?!
--GENERAL TREISTER IS ALIVE
--Billy and JJ are talking to him while wearing spacesuits
--Mrs. the Monarch is kicking butt, there's been some casualties and she has a giant gun.
--"Prepare for Battle" says the sovereign... uh oh, some screens in the back are blank - I see Dr. Mrs., Mommy Longlegs and Phage there but not any of the others? Aw man 2-headed guy where are you don't be dead yet...
--There's a big robot with a gun! Gun looks suspiciously familiar.
--Oh hey he is shooting at the three Guild members that were up on the screens... looks dire!
--Phantom Limb looks pretty boss in a new outfit here... he's back on his game, guys!
--Whoa whoa looks like we just saw an assassination in front of the Chinese restaurant?! Of Steppenwolf, oh no! Goodbye (?) dapper fellow...
--Gargantua 2 in a meteor shower
--Dr. Venture and Dean desperately trying to fix something in the middle of the shower... uh... that's right, they were supposed to have delivered a working shield back in Season 5 right? whoooooops
--Dr. Venture knows what he's doing. Well.
--The Sovereign wants to "take what is ours" and hey, one more silhouette on the monitor, I don't recognize this one though
--OSI guys inspecting an empty boat - did they get pranked? And explosions! And... spaceship! Wait what?
--The Venture Compound in FLAMES, wow that might not even be livable for a little while, yikes
--wait did something crash on top of it??
--Dr. Venture and Dean running down a hallway while Billy is just so over this shit. He's gonna get drunk and gamble.

OK, here are some guesses for what's going down:
--This is finally the episode where JJ chokes on his own hubris. I've been waiting so, so long.
--Monarch and Dr. Missus seem to spend most of this episode apart - some issues regarding her new career change?
--Brock is paranoid from seeing the Inspectors - they could be anyone - can't think of any other reason he'd put a knife to Hank's throat, honestly.
--OSI, the Guild and the Revenge Society are TOTALLY AT WAR. We may even end the special down a few organizations, guys... and it's especially not looking good for the Guild :(
--They are strongly hinting that the other members of the Council of 13 aside from Dr. Mrs. are going to kick the bucket. Could that possibly really happen?? aaaaaah
--They are also strongly hinting that Dr. Mrs. will kick much ass and rescue herself, I'm on board for that
--Even a hint of what's going on with the Venture family... there's no way "Maybe you need to try something else?!" and "I know what I'm doing!!" are only about the failed shield in the meteor shower - is this going to be a reckoning for Rusty?
--And whaaaaaat is going on with the alien spaceship and General Treister coming back to life?! I literally have no idea about this thing, I'm stumped.
--Whaaaaaaaaat
--OK some more mundane observations: Monarch probably went to troll the Venture Compound one last time before going to space, if he even gets into space, that's not guaranteed--wait he is wearing an orange jumpsuit - pffft he totally stole a Venture Industries rocket! - anyway; Dean still has emo hair, but it's browner now - that's good, it's a good look on him; Brock is in his underwear - wait maybe Hank stowed away?; The Venture Compound is burning again and it looks like some pretty intense damage... something crashed into it from above, I'm pretty sure... y'know, they could kill off just about any character and still go on, but I think the day that cursed place burns to the ground the show will be over.
So. Um. You guys have any thoughts? Jan. 13, 2015, 2:06am

My thoughts on Brock holding a knife to Hanks throat is this: That isn't Hank. It's one of the Investors mimicking Hank. I think this due to what "Hank" is wearing. We haven't seen Hank wear the old kerchief/Fred from Scooby-Doo outfit in a long time. I'm really believing it's one of the Investors on Gargantua-2 trying to either take out Brock or get some info from him by portraying the least suspicious person Brock would assume. I'm probably way off ^_^ but it's a theory!
Everything else, I'm just astounded by this trailer and cannot, CANNOT wait for Sunday night/Monday morning! Just cashed in a day off from work so I can watch it live, then rewatch it on the DVR, and rewatch it again if I'm not too tired...then rewatch it a few more times on Monday! CAN'T WAIT! Final run? I've heard some talk that season six will be the final season, yet I swear I've heard Doc and JP mention a season seven in an interview. Do we know which is true or is it all still up in the air? My gut feeling tells me they'll do a season seven then call it quits or continue on with a spin-off.

Most likely we'll find out around the time the DVD comes out. For a while it sounded like 6 would be the end, but every interview they seem to have a different vibe on where it's going. The latest I remember is that they don't really want to have a definitive ending yet in case they end up wanting to do more.

Update!
“We’re not funneling it into an ending,†says Hammer.
Publick agrees. “There’s always more to say and another place to take it,†he says. “I am no longer of the feeling that we will bring the whole thing to some kind of ultimate climax one day.â€
He adds, “I don’t ever want to end it. We may stop doing it, but to me it feels like these characters are just alive now. We may just get sick of documenting them. I don’t have a big end in sight for any of them anymore. â€
