Final run? I've heard some talk that season six will be the final season, yet I swear I've heard Doc and JP mention a season seven in an interview. Do we know which is true or is it all still up in the air? My gut feeling tells me they'll do a season seven then call it quits or continue on with a spin-off.

Most likely we'll find out around the time the DVD comes out. For a while it sounded like 6 would be the end, but every interview they seem to have a different vibe on where it's going. The latest I remember is that they don't really want to have a definitive ending yet in case they end up wanting to do more.

Publick agrees. “There’s always more to say and another place to take it,†he says. “I am no longer of the feeling that we will bring the whole thing to some kind of ultimate climax one day.â€
He adds, “I don’t ever want to end it. We may stop doing it, but to me it feels like these characters are just alive now. We may just get sick of documenting them. I don’t have a big end in sight for any of them anymore. â€
