All This And Gargantua Merch, Too

All This And Gargantua Merch, Too
If you're hankering for more Venture Bros. themed apparel, head on over to the Astrobase for the return of Shirt Club. You can pick up two fancy knit caps as well as a hoodie. The hoodie and one of the hats has the new Venture Industries logo as seen in "All This And Gargantua-2" and the other hat has the Astrobase Go! logo embroidered into it. "Lookin' sharp!" is what people will probably say when they see you wearing one or all of these items (especially if you wear both caps at once). Caps are $18 and the hoodie is $48. They're also limited items, so you only have until February 3rd at 1am EST to buy them, then they're gone forever, just like [REDACTED FOR SPOILERS].

It's been a minute since I commented, and the ATAG2 thread seems to be dead, so I'll just leave this little observation here:

Did anyone else notice that Hatred's man-tits are no more?

Well, it's been a while since he needed to dip into the Nomolestatol pool, as far as we know, and that was the strongest candidate for causes.

I think that went along with the "reset button" theme of the whole thing. Hank was back to wearing his neckerchief of the first few seasons, too.

I didn't notice they were gone on viewing the first time as I guess I had gotten so used to them (that's disturbing really), but on rewatch #2 I noticed they were no more.

Has anybody heard if they are bringing back shirt club for season six? Someone somewhere posted it would be back, but as of now I don't see anything beyond last season's shirts. Wearing my Council of Thirteen shirt just won't feel the same anymore.

When you go to the site and then click on where it says "Shirt Club" it just takes you to the three items shown above. No sign-up for the season six Shirt Club. I hope that the hoodie isn't part of the season six Shirt Club as $48.00 (no, make that $50.00 as I am XXL) is pretty steep for what looks like a light weight garment. I love VB too but I have to work for a living and have bills to pay first before I can spoil myself.

Feb. 21, 2015, 5:30pm
Yeah I am too! The screenshots got added to the page, I don't know how recently that was though. I'm really interested to read it, but I understand it's a pretty daunting episode to break down so I could see it taking a while to make.

Maybe if Mike is overwhelmed with other non VB issues then perhaps he would consider eliciting assistance from some of the more talented readers here? I know this site is his baby, but he would obviously still have full editorial control over the final content. A number of us already contribute as it is by pointing out things we may have noticed that others didn't or obscure pop culture references that we might have some familiarity with. Couldn't hurt to at least give it a try I say. Keep it to maybe 3 or 4 folks at the most, as too many cooks could spoil the VB soup.

Yeah, sorry. As cpc65 predicted, life issues have cropped up these last few months and I've been too busy to do much more than add the screenshots (which I did a couple of weeks ago). I'm definitely considering opening up the floor, as it were, to let people contribute to the capsule in grander ways than ever before. I will probably post something about it in the near future.

The schedule is always blank... but the show still airs on Fridays.
The newest episode capsule needs updating.
You could even whip up a news article about the next six mego figures to be released very soon.. or an article about that states the Gargantua-2 merchandise is now shipping.

Jackson updated his twitter with a picture of Patrick Warburton and himself, and mentions that they are now recording voices for season six.

Knowing how long animation takes... and that voice recordings are basically step 2 of a huuuge process... late fall 2015 is the soonest the new season could be ready... but February/March 2016 seems more likely.

I have a feeling (basd on evidence) that the toyline based on the show is ending... but even worse... that season six won't even see a dvd/bluray release.

Very sad.

Less and less Venture merchandise in the future.

Mike Lazzo will probably just cancel the show without notice after season six.

I guess he was the main factor in the cancellation of ATHF b/c while the ratings are high.. he personally has gotten 'bored with it' after fifteen years.

Venture Bros. is almost fifteen years old... I'm getting nervous.

Adult Swim cares nothing for ratings success.... it's all about whether or not AS president Mike Lazzo is bored with your cartoon or not.

That shit is crazy.

Like I'm worried about it too, but I just feel like Venture Bros. is seperate from the Adult Swim lineup in a way that keeps it safe. The recent comments from Doc and Jackson about it not "ending" ending in the near future, and some other stuff made it sound like season 7 is on their minds writing wise.

And if they want to keep the show interesting for Lazzo, just do another golf scene, apparently he adored his little cameo in that scene.

It will be interesting to see what actually happens, and perhaps... season seven will be the last.

Don't forget how much flak the show has gotten for taking it's time to get made.

By the time a seventh season would actually air... everyone internally within the network may have 'moved' on by that point in time.

I just don't see the show ever going passed season seven or maybe, eight given it's long production cycle.

By 2020.. Chris and Eric might be bored with the Ventures as well.

We'll certainly see.

Okay, Venturoos. Here's what ya get for the Extras, at least on the DVD version. I felt it was a little light, but that's just my opinion. Deleted Scenes (as always) - Some are B&W sketches with the dialog, others are animated with the dialog. Ghost in the Pro-Blem - An extended view of the distorted images of events from the Pro-BLEM's point of view. Maybe there are some clues hidden in it if you like frame-by-frame advancing. Maybe not. Sirena Goes Off... - Cristin Milioti ad-libbing way more dialog than the script calls for. Poor Rocco. Promo - Basically the season 7 promo. Maybe there's Easter Eggs to find. I haven't done any extensive searching yet. If anyone finds any feel free to post them here!
