It's been a minute since I commented, and the ATAG2 thread seems to be dead, so I'll just leave this little observation here:

Well, it's been a while since he needed to dip into the Nomolestatol pool, as far as we know, and that was the strongest candidate for causes.

I think that went along with the "reset button" theme of the whole thing. Hank was back to wearing his neckerchief of the first few seasons, too.

I didn't notice they were gone on viewing the first time as I guess I had gotten so used to them (that's disturbing really), but on rewatch #2 I noticed they were no more.
