Third Episode

I know Shadowman 9 hasn't even aired yet, but the third episode of the season (after The Doctor is Sin) will be called 'Billy Quizboy and the Invisible Hand'. You may begin speculating on what will happen in that episode... now! Also don't forget the Shadowman 9 discussion thread right below here. Enjoy!

Edit (11:33pm): Thanks to Kuiosikle in the comments for mentioning this thread on PRoV which has some more episode names:
  • My Dinner With Hatred - June 22, 2008
  • Enter the Bad Seed - June 29, 2008
  • Dr. Guymn, Medicine Woman - July 6, 2008
Sadly no source for these yet, but I'll totally add them when I find a source. The lack of pre-knowing all the episodes titles this season is kind of a bummer.

Update #2: (1:55am) - Nais over on the VB Wiki was nice enough to post his source, so I'm pretty confident these are accurate. Awesome sleuthing!

And after that is:
My Dinner With Hatred - June 22, 2008
Enter the Bad Seed - June 29, 2008
Dr. Guymn, Medicine Woman - July 6, 2008

This according to Nais over at Prov/Venturebroswiki. I don't know where he got the information though, but seems believable.

Well that's awesome, and yeah they sound legit but I would like some kind of source aside from vague 'internet detective' stuff he said in that thread :(

I update the thread with my source. Tried to link it here, but it marks me as a spammer. Ah well. I did mean to shoot you a message about the names but you beat me to it. :)

Keep up the good work!

I love it in VEN when there are all those stories about the hand, then at the end Doc asks him about it:

Dr. Venture: How'd you get that thing?
Billy: That's an excellent question, I have no idea.

Pure genius! Can't wait to see the actual reason (assuming we get an actual reason, that is... I wouldn't put it past them to fake us out with the title).

I hear from a very reliable source that... blah blah blah. Watch the previews and commercials. They are totally going to go retro in that episode and show us Billy's (and Phantom Dick's) past.I happen to believe it will be more in line with the Monarch's origin of the Phantom. Afterall, he did work for the dick.

In the commercial we see Billy pull a lever and Phantom Limb is strappe into some kind of contraption. Could be two different episodes, I know. But one can hope, right?

I just can't wait for the episode with "The Rusty Venture Show," as storyboarded on Steven Destefano's blog. Spoiler alert anyone!?

In the commercial Adult Swim is running, Billy already has his robotic hand during the flashback. Also, in the season three preview that Publick and Hammer put together, he's got it during the nozzle scene as well. So we may not actually find out how he got the hand...

In the title "The Invisible Hand" may refer to Phantom Limb...he calls himself The Invisible Hand in Showdown at Cremation Creek.

True. Maybe the origin of Billy's hand has nothing to do with Phantm Limb's missing... err... limbs. Maybe Billy just had a hand in Phantamos' experiment that turned him evil.

Or maybe it's not a flashback, and Phantom Limb comes to Billy to get his "phantom limbs" back! He totally had robotic arms at the end of Shadowman 9!

I only saw one arm (hand and a forearm) at the end of Shadowman 9, and it was glowing/pulsing/showing his internal bones, etc., just like it did in Season Two.

Okay, Venturoos. Here's what ya get for the Extras, at least on the DVD version. I felt it was a little light, but that's just my opinion. Deleted Scenes (as always) - Some are B&W sketches with the dialog, others are animated with the dialog. Ghost in the Pro-Blem - An extended view of the distorted images of events from the Pro-BLEM's point of view. Maybe there are some clues hidden in it if you like frame-by-frame advancing. Maybe not. Sirena Goes Off... - Cristin Milioti ad-libbing way more dialog than the script calls for. Poor Rocco. Promo - Basically the season 7 promo. Maybe there's Easter Eggs to find. I haven't done any extensive searching yet. If anyone finds any feel free to post them here!
