The Mantis-Eye Experiment Presents: The (Not Affiliated With) Twitter to Win Some Free Crap Because There's Not Much Else Going On Contest
Since we've hit some between-season doldrums (or mid-season doldrums, which feel oddly familiar) and news on the new action figures seems to be taking a rest for now, now's as good a time as any to do something!
Thanks to the fine people at Adult Swim I have some spare Adult Swim branded stuff that I'm sure you can't wait to get your grubby hands on. All you have to do is follow @mantiseye on Twitter. That's it! How much easier could it be?!

Prizes will be given away at random times, one per day, starting on Monday, March 22nd and running until Friday, March 26th. If you are following @mantiseye you will be automatically entered for every drawing!

Contest FAQ
Q: Which prize can I win?
A: It's totally random, based on my whim! Those photos are there to entice you, but I'll be handing prizes out randomly, one per day. I will announce which prize is being given away on the same day, prior to contacting the winner (and I will announce when the daily winner has been picked).
Q: What if I already follow you on Twitter?
A: Then you're already entered! There's nothing left to do except wait to be a winner!
Q: I don't have a Twitter account!
A: Get one! They're totally free! You don't even need to use it to enter, just sign up and follow! You can ignore it or do whatever you want with the account!
Q: This just seems like a way for you to get more followers.
A: That's because it is! It's also a fun and exciting social media-ing way to do a giveaway, so there's that. And hey, at least I'm not doing one of those even lamer contests where you have to retweet something, so be glad for that (I hate those kinds of contests).
Q: Are you sure you don't want me to retweet something?
A: You can certainly tweet/retweet about the contest if you want to. In fact that would be awesome and you would have my eternal gratitude, which is almost as good as a prize.
Contest rules and legal-ish mumbo-jumbo:
- Participants will be chosen at random from the list of followers of the Mantis-Eye Twitter (@mantiseye) at the designated times. Upon selection of winner he or she will be direct messages on Twitter with information on the next steps to take.
- In the event that the winner refuses or isn't able to be contacted then another winner will be selected at random and so on until a legitimate winner is selected. Each winner will have three days to respond before they are passed over.
- No prize substitutions will be made. Prizes are as described and pictured and in brand new condition as best as I can tell. If there is something wrong with your prize there's nothing I can do about that, sorry.
- Participants are only elegible to win, at most, one prize for the duration of the contest.
- Once I mail the prizes it's out of my hands. So if it gets lost in the mail or damaged there's nothing I can do about it, sadly. No replacements will be issued. It's never happened before (as far as I know) so I'm sure this won't be an issue, but just in case.
- This contest and the Mantis-Eye Experiment have no official association or affiliation with Twitter (just like the contest name says) and make no claims on behalf of Twitter. Any events occurring on Twitter.com, or on clients utilizing Twitter's API are out of control of The Mantis-Eye Experiment.
- By following @mantiseye on Twitter you acknowledge that you have actually read and agree to these rules. If you do not agree to the rules or do not wish to participate you can refuse receipt of your prize (should you win) or you may contact me via email with your Twitter account name to inform me that you do not wish to participate. You can also unfollow @mantiseye temporarily for the duration of the giveaway (or permanently) if you prefer. I reserve the right to change rules or make up new ones as I see fit, though I probably won't do that, but just in case.
