No Venture Bros. Presence At SDCC, But Watch For NYCC
The Venture Home News is reporting word from Jackson that there won't be much Venture Bros. presence at San Diego Comic-Con this year since they will be heads down making the show. However there is promise of much Venture at New York Comic Con this upcoming October, which works out thematically with the show's new direction for season six (you should watch "All This And Gargantua-2" if you haven't yet) as well as being a much quicker trip for Jackson and Doc.

No information because we won't be attending this year. The comparatively early timing of the convention this year and the demands of our brutal production schedule just didn't jive this time around, unfortunately.
Instead, we hope to make a big splash at the New York Comic Con in October, which we were forced to skip last year. My take: He's not really Malcolm's dad. Jonas is. Jonas wanted him out of the way so he arranged the plane crash, possibly making Kano take part (thus Kano's confession in ORB). Malcolm's mom was likely never on the plane. The guy survived the crash somehow, Jonas wiped his memory and made him in into Venturion. Jonas probably wiped Malcolm's memory too, and somehow, either by a fluke or maybe deliberate, they both have a hatred towards Rusty. That's why The Monarch doesn't remember the photo and why he's never explained why he hates Doc so much.

Forgot to mention that I've been seeing lots of interesting bits of info. from the home news letter at sdcc and just general bits of knowledge from sdcc '15.
Season six will be officially be launched properly and revealed at NYCC '15 by Doc and Jackson. Mike and James may also be in attendance.
The new season will most likely start airing in early 2016.
Billy makes very good pancakes.
Dermott is the one character we will be seeing far, far less of b/c of the 'big' move to NY.
The dark horse coffee-table book is now expected to launch in April 2016.

Keep in mind they still are working on the last three episodes of the season, they just got animation in for one of those eps, and as soon as Korea ships animation for two more episodes... we'll all be that much closer to new Venture!
What I'm saying is if heavy scene retakes occur... dear God, it might not premiere until March or April or later.

Also keep in mind they don't have to wait until the full season is completely produced before they can begin airing the start of the season. They just need to make sure they have enough leeway to be able to finish the end of the season in time for when the airing schedule gets that far along. I know, I know, they want to make sure everything is perfect.

True, they technically did that already with season four (volume 2) and that's why the season finale aired in November after the body of the season had already aired b/c it took soo long to produce their first hour-long finale.
However, Adult Swim will most likely wait until all episodes are completed.
And due to scheduling they could hold the episodes until they see fit to air them. Season five was delayed out of May until June 12th just b/c of Adult Swim scheduling demands. As they needed to space new programming out all year long.
However... it sounds like they want new Venture Bros. to begin airing in January and kickoff 2016 on the right footing.
