Someone on YouTube posted that the season six premier in now to be on January 24. I asked if they got that from some announcement made by Doc and JP at the NY Comic Con and he or she said "Yes".

Keep in mind they still are working on the last three episodes of the season, they just got animation in for one of those eps, and as soon as Korea ships animation for two more episodes... we'll all be that much closer to new Venture!

What I'm saying is if heavy scene retakes occur... dear God, it might not premiere until March or April or later.

And that's a very real possibility.

Also keep in mind they don't have to wait until the full season is completely produced before they can begin airing the start of the season. They just need to make sure they have enough leeway to be able to finish the end of the season in time for when the airing schedule gets that far along. I know, I know, they want to make sure everything is perfect.

True, they technically did that already with season four (volume 2) and that's why the season finale aired in November after the body of the season had already aired b/c it took soo long to produce their first hour-long finale.

However, Adult Swim will most likely wait until all episodes are completed.

And due to scheduling they could hold the episodes until they see fit to air them. Season five was delayed out of May until June 12th just b/c of Adult Swim scheduling demands. As they needed to space new programming out all year long.

However... it sounds like they want new Venture Bros. to begin airing in January and kickoff 2016 on the right footing.
