Exclusive "O.S.I. Love You" Clip at MTV Geek

MTV Geek has an exclusive clip from Sunday's Venture Bros. episode "O.S.I. Love You" which seems like it will possibly include intrigue, sweet spy action and double-crossing. That's just a guess on my part though. Here's the clip:

(Sorry that you have to probably watch an ad before the clip). "O.S.I. Love You" airs this Sunday at midnight.

Well, post-teaser. There's usually a brief scene, blood splash title, and then this I assume.

I had some time on my hands so I went back to the assortment of Season 5 promo films looking for clips that have not appears as parts of an episode. There's a bunch that seem to organize into eight stories.

1. Shallow Gravy has a concert at a retirement community (for werewolves?) In another clip we see a shirtless Dermott in prison, and in a third we see Orphesus with a shirtless Dermott in the background.

2. Gary camping in the woods - he's not wear Sphynx gear or anyone's gear. In another clip we see Gary walking in on Mr & Mrs The Monarch as they begin to make-out. He's wearing Monarch gear and appears to wave sheepishly at them, which suggests that Gary is returning to the Cocoon and being 21.

3. Captain Sunshine and Wonderboy at grieving at a funeral. A bunch of supers also appear to be greiving. Is this the same funeral? Since Sunshine seems reluctant to let go of the coffin I wonder if the deceased is Desmond, the original Captain Sunshine.

4. In the recall of the Ventures there's a shot of Robot Ghost but so far no story.

5. Doc and Hatred were shown running off a bridge in a jeep. A bandaged Doc watches as Hatred's Hover Tank flies overhead. In another clip the Hover Tank launches a missle at the Cocoon. In yet another clip we see a bandaged Doc and Dr. Girfriend talking. She has a pair of surgical sissors. So she's patched him up.

6. Brock in skivies busts out of closet hitting a man in blue battle gear, the sizzle reel shows him doing something to blue robot-kind guy. just before this. The blue Man and the Blue robot were talking in another clip at a chinese restauurant. In another part of the sizzle reel Brock, wearing the blue man's gear enters some convention of villains. A man with one eye and a high-collared cape opens a curtain to reveal Doc and Billy lashed to a fortune wheel.

7. Monarch drilling on Docs teeth

8. Big-headed alien-like villain, Old Mr. Gentleman in a fight and an arena seen with the elderly Team Venture.

It will be interesting to see how these eight bits will be fitted into three episodes.

3. Red Mantle and Dragoon are at the funeral too, I believe.

8. I believe the villain from this part is Brainulio from a few Season 3 episodes. Could this episode be the rumored Jonas era flashback episode?

I really like how you've compiled all of this information. I'd give the post a positive vote, but I can't get that damned function to work!

In the sizzle reel, there is a scene of an older man and woman. I think it's the aged Action Man and his wife, as seen in "Ghosts of the Sargasso." If so, are they at Shallow Gravy's senior center gig?

There's also a tense-looking scene featuring Shoreleave, in some sort of bird-themed costume, using a laser. I think! No idea how the scene fits into the above categories, though.

1. There is a picture on Jackson's livejournal of the Action Man and his wife in front of Hank with a guitar in a Shallow Gravy shirt, so he's involved with that storyline.

3. I don't know if this is related, but there is a clip of three villains in a weird car driving somewhere. The one in black and white is Wild Fop from the video Dr. Orpheus watched in the Season 2 episode, "Fallen Arches". Him and the other two, which look like maybe a bat guy and a brain in a glass case type of guy, might be going to or from the funeral, since there are a lot of Guild guys there. The funeral and/or the car clip could also fit in with the episode put together in #6.

5. Except for maybe the jeep part I agree with what you say here. I think that the Monarch captured Doc and is torturing him with the dental drill. I don't know what's going on with the clips of the Monarch and Dr. Girlfriend in the red and yellow costumes or what that big machine is that they have, but I feel like it's involved with this. Also maybe the, "I HAVE CRUSHED DR. VENTURE! [evil laugh]", clip. Maybe when the Monarch and Dr. Girlfriend are doing their thing, Tim Tom and Kevin try to take charge as seen in the clip where Tim Tom is in the Monarch's Chair. That would explain why the henchmen were getting angry. I think that Doc escapes, maybe Dr. Girlfriend lets him go with the scissors. I mean she did help him out in the Season 1 episode, "Midlife Chrysalis". As he's trying to get home, walking down the road, Sgt. Hatred finally gets to saving him in his hovertank. But as he races to save him and says, "Oh a reckoning's coming buddy, A RECKONING IS COMING!", he doesn't realize that Doc is walking down the road, and passes him. He then shoots the missle at the Cocoon, not realizing that Doc is already gone.

6. Ok so I'm pretty sure that the blue and purple robot is a modified Ghost robot. There is a clip of Brock and some other guy, both in O.S.I. uniforms, in a room together. if you look in the background, there is a picture of the blue and purple robot. In the clip you mentioned showing Ghost Robot, it looked like he was in Hunter's new office. (Sidenote: I'd like to point out the three marks on his chest area, which is from when 21 stabbed him with a trident in the Season 4 episode, "Every Which Way But Zeus".) I'm guessing that the O.S.I. has him undercover, as the blue and purple robot, for some reason. If you compare them, they look pretty similar (ex: eyes, mouth, arms). There is a clip of Brock and the blue robot in the bathroom of the restaurant the robot and blue man were at. It looks like Brock, in his underwear, was putting the robot into the yeti mummy costume that Brock wore in the Season 3 episode, "The Buddy System". Brock then knocks out the Blue Man that stumbled upon them and most likely takes his outfit. As you said, Brock shows up later wearing the Blue Man's gear in a gathering of villains, and Doc and billy are strapped to the wheel. They show Brock walking to the stage where the one eyed man with the cape is standing. In that clip, you can see Doc and Billy are above the stage tied together hanging from the ceiling by a rope. If you look in the background of another clip of the Monarch surrounded by villains, probably the same place, you can see the Yeti Mummy. In the suit you can see blue glowing eyes, indicating that it is Ghost Robot/ the blue and purple robot. There is a shot of Shoreleave, upside down, in what looks like some kind of a falcon costume, presumably also undercover, cutting a rope with a pen that has either fire or a lazer coming out the end of it. This is probably him saving Doc and Billy. If you look at the background of that, you can see that it has the same kind of doorway as in this picture, which seems to be a Guild party or something, which is problably related to this episode in some way. http://jacksonpublick.tumblr.com/image/34150757790 .

8. In a pic on Jackson's livejournal, Brainulo is seen on some floating thing above the Action man, Col. Gentleman, and Humongaloid, before he got shrunk down to the size he is currently), covered in blood, with their clothes ripped up, surrounded by dead(?), bloody, lizard men wearing karate uniforms. This takes place in the past when the Original Team Venture was still together. Since this involves the past it might tie into how the Monarch knew Doc when they were young. It might even fit in with the shallow gravy/ old folks home episode because the action man is definitely involved with that episode.

There is a clip of Brock in a jet, crashing through the window and flying through doors that are about to close. He has cuts on his face in this clip. seeing that Brock has bandages on his face in this preview for next weeks episode, i guess that's in the next episode, as with Molotov in the strength suit, the new O.S.I. guys, and the clips of Shoreleave in the hallways of the O.S.I. hoverquarters.

These are my predictions as to how things happen. I may have forgotten something but if I remember, I'll add it. Tell me what you think.

I forgot to say in#3 that if you look at some of the members of the council of 13, you could see that the bat guy and the black and white guys might be members because they match the silhouettes.

In #6, I said that Brock is putting the yeti mummy costume on Ghost Robot. If you don't see it in the video, it's because the one on youtube and adultswim are slightly different then the one available for download on iTunes. The one on iTunes has some stuff added, not clips, just a couple sound effects, the added yeti mummy costume, and I'm not sure what else.

Also, since they're bringing in new Mr.'s, the criminal prisoners that escape might include Cardholder and Doe because we never got to see what happened to them after Operation P.R.O.M.

I was doing the same thing- you hit on some good points and I wonder if you are right about the scene with the hovertank and venture and the dentistry.

The only pattern the show has is the propensity for cliffhangers at the end of a season. I'm bracing myself for this one and these last few episodes as the first half has been great, but also a bit short on action. We'll see.

I've already thanked beb and will now thank you for the incredibly detailed post. I recently re-watched the season five sizzle reel and promos--looking for clues, of course--but was unable to put things together so coherently.

As for the strange collection of guys driving around in the old car, I'm sure they're council members. I love the design on the little bat guy. His head appears to match the silhouette that Jackson talked about in the "Shadowman 9" commentary, the one created by turning Half-Jackal into a full jackal. If he is indeed the same guy, it's such a great retro-fit.

I agree that those guy in the car are almost certainly Council members. I'll go one further and add that the one-eyed guy in the high collar who has Rusty and Billy lashed to the wheel of misfortune is a Councilman too - check out The Revenge Society, he's on the screen to the left of Dragoon.

That was supposed to happen years ago though, sometime around late Season 2. I think maybe Orpheus made a mistake on that one.

Dean is going to join the Guild, or try to anyway. Does anyone else see this coming? There was another pic of the Guild party that Simpsonsfan posted which is at a different angle where you can see Dean sitting at a table.

Okay, Venturoos. Here's what ya get for the Extras, at least on the DVD version. I felt it was a little light, but that's just my opinion. Deleted Scenes (as always) - Some are B&W sketches with the dialog, others are animated with the dialog. Ghost in the Pro-Blem - An extended view of the distorted images of events from the Pro-BLEM's point of view. Maybe there are some clues hidden in it if you like frame-by-frame advancing. Maybe not. Sirena Goes Off... - Cristin Milioti ad-libbing way more dialog than the script calls for. Poor Rocco. Promo - Basically the season 7 promo. Maybe there's Easter Eggs to find. I haven't done any extensive searching yet. If anyone finds any feel free to post them here!
