It's, Uh, October Madness!
Continuing this extremely long Five Years of Mantis-Eye thing I wanted to make thing for the site that would be light-hearted but kind of fun and goofy. Since the great equalizer for varying levels of geekitude is the good old "who would win in a fight?" question I thought this would be a good idea. What we have here is your basic bracket of baddies from the world of The Venture Bros., all laid out and ready to be voted on the non-discerning Mantis-Eye reader. You can vote on each battle once per hour (based on IP) and each round lasts for three days, ending at noon eastern time (with the next one beginning after a slight delay while I generate them). So go get started! Tell your best pals! May the best villain win!

Well the weak guys are going to be kicked out early anyway, but that's how brackets work, if you are high ranked you play the weaker dudes first, which leads to stronger matches later on. I did come up with the format first and then selected bad guys and ranked them without looking at who would be fighting who and this is what came out.
I also revised the participants a bit after last week's episode. Super duper obscure guys like 'Joseph and his Technicolor Nightmare Coat' were in there. I couldn't bring myself to kick Manta Claus out though :( Oct. 1, 2010, 6:20pm

Yeah, I thought I'd have trouble finding 32 but it wasn't too hard. I didn't include Girl Hitler or Cataclops because I wasn't sure if they counted any more, plus there are a lot of other guys who are named and seen like Sea Anemone and one or two more major-ish characters (Brisby could be considered one and maybe Molotov). I'm sure in the next couple of episodes there will be some new guys too.

Do any screenshots exist of Mommy Longlegs?
What episode was Tigeriffic in?
Would put black construction workin' MODOK up in the list since hew seemed intriguing, but hey, you cant put em all in there, it would be an all day selection process. I could be getting work done as it is, so I'm glad there is going to be another!

Mommy Longlegs might be the Natasha "Black Widow" Romanova styled entity of the Spiderman parody coming up.
I am wondering if there is an Inhumans sect that will at some point in the future parody the Fantastic (dysfunctioned) Four that Doc and Jackson put together with the Impossible family. Theyre very interesting folks that inspired Kiss to make costumes, according to Gene Simmons. Oct. 2, 2010, 4:25pm
