Did You Know: You Can Watch The Season 7 Premiere Online

Adult Swim has been kind enough to stream the Venture Bros. season premiere online. Probably only if you're in the US, sorry, but still. The episode is called "The Venture Bros. & the Curse of the Haunted Problem" and if you don't have time to watch it on your computer you'll be able to catch it on the night of Sunday, August 5th at midnight! If you can watch it now though... you can do that.

Got home from a sweaty-ass day at work. Took a hot shower. Cranked the AC and grabbed an orange creamsicle and commenced viewing. Blown away! A few of the voices sounded a bit different but it's the same actors, so. The Order of the Triad AND original Team Venture together. Awesome! It's funny but after I saw the 2nd trailer with Hank eavesdropping on Wide Wale I thought maybe he might go after Blue Morpho to get on big W's good side. No need to hunt now.

That's right! I guess we know who the 'Phantom Spaceman' is now.


I hadn't realized he died that long ago. Always sounded like it was sometime in the mid-to-late 80's.

Note that Wide Wale is *still* expecting an attack from the Blue Morpho. Suit or no suit, he doesn't seem to recognize The Monarch without the mask and hat (ala Mrs M and the date night tango schtick). He may just have him captured as part of his earlier revenge plan over the death of his brother.

Okay, Venturoos. Here's what ya get for the Extras, at least on the DVD version. I felt it was a little light, but that's just my opinion. Deleted Scenes (as always) - Some are B&W sketches with the dialog, others are animated with the dialog. Ghost in the Pro-Blem - An extended view of the distorted images of events from the Pro-BLEM's point of view. Maybe there are some clues hidden in it if you like frame-by-frame advancing. Maybe not. Sirena Goes Off... - Cristin Milioti ad-libbing way more dialog than the script calls for. Poor Rocco. Promo - Basically the season 7 promo. Maybe there's Easter Eggs to find. I haven't done any extensive searching yet. If anyone finds any feel free to post them here!
