January 19th: Venture Bros. One Hour Special
I know the sheets news is probably more than you can deal with right now, but I've got a little more for you. The often talked about one hour special that was slated for the end of 2014? Well it's actually slated for January 19th, 2015 (at midnight ET/PT), which is pretty close to the original timeframe, and also happens to be only one month away! Bonus! I don't know what the episode is about, but it appears it will contain some spaceships flying over the planet, which is pretty cool. Check back for more info if any is released, but otherwise mark your calendars for January 19th!

The new season won't be too far behind, probably fall 2015.

I'm too pumped!!!!

I hope it's true that it airs on Monday the 19th and not the 18th.

The 18th is one year anniversary of my best friend dying.... so yeah.

We've got the episodes name as well; "All This and Gargantua 2."

Also the master of the episode was finished right after X-mas, so good on AS for showing it right away.

[AS] just needs to start advertising it now with a promo commercial airing nightly, and not just bloody guild symbols on facebook and were golden.

When you say midnight January 19th I read that as Monday night, because, you know, midnight at the end of the day. So is the special being shown on Sunday night or Monday night?

Do you mean Monday morning or Tuesday morning?

It's technically on Tuesday, but it's the night of January 19th, Monday night. As in, you sit down at your TV at 11:30pm and it's the 19th and then in half an hour the show comes on.

Meaning I live in the US central timezone.
Forgot to mention that crucial detail.

It should air literally the first second of Tuesday the 20th for the eastern timezone.

Or it could be the first second of the 19th, which is commonly considered part of Sunday night. I missed an episode once because of this vary confusion. VB traditionally has been shown on Sunday night, at midnight. But technically that's Monday morning as well. AS really needs to think this thing through. Also put out more advertising.

Again, the show is airing on Monday not Sunday... just like Rick and Morty does when it's new.

Don't add to the confusion.

Sorry for all the triple posting... it's confused people... and I understand completely.

It confused me too, the shows always been on late Sundays late enough to be Monday.

But now it's on a Monday... late enough it'll be Tuesday certain places.

Confusion will probably be rampant with the fans.

Had a brief panic last nite seeing it listed at 11PM Sunday on my DVR, stayed up just to be sure it wasn't shown. It was not. Is there a shirt club for this episode? Jackson mentioned it in one of the recent interviews and in his blog;

"There is never any news about Shirt Club until, suddenly one day, there is Shirt Club. You'll know when you need to know."

Okay, Venturoos. Here's what ya get for the Extras, at least on the DVD version. I felt it was a little light, but that's just my opinion. Deleted Scenes (as always) - Some are B&W sketches with the dialog, others are animated with the dialog. Ghost in the Pro-Blem - An extended view of the distorted images of events from the Pro-BLEM's point of view. Maybe there are some clues hidden in it if you like frame-by-frame advancing. Maybe not. Sirena Goes Off... - Cristin Milioti ad-libbing way more dialog than the script calls for. Poor Rocco. Promo - Basically the season 7 promo. Maybe there's Easter Eggs to find. I haven't done any extensive searching yet. If anyone finds any feel free to post them here!
