Venture Bros. Panel at NYCC 2013

As is the custom, Jackson and Doc will be hosting a Venture Bros. panel at this year's New York Comic Con. The panel is on Friday, October 11th at 4pm on the main stage, 1-D. NYCC runs from October 10th until the 13th this year. No word on any potential special guests just yet, but stay tuned.
Looking forward to seeing what they say on the panel! I hope they are really enjoying their dive into Season 6 and looking forward to the 90 minute feature!

For some reason I'm thinking they decided not to do the special after all, but can't remember why.

Anybody know if I'm going insane?

As far as I can tell, you're sane. I believe they did say they weren't doing the special, so that they could get Season 6 done quicker (i.e., not have to wait 2 1/2 years between seasons again).

I remember them saying they are rolling directly into Season 6 and doing the 90 minute feature afterward (originally they were planning to do the special between seasons). Are we all sane or is someone here more sane than the others?

Yeah, I think we're all sane but have our information from different sources. Not sure which one's the most up to date though.

I'm a big fan of the site. I just wish it was more active during the off season. There has to be some crazy Venture Brother fan club running around causing trouble during the rest of the year?!

That being said I'll be watching the panel!

Soooo it looks like the special is back on then? Color me confused, but I'll take it as quickly as they can put it out.

I guess the special was going to be 90 minutes originally... so now instead it's basically the 60 minute season 5 finale we never got this year.

So it will still be a big special that fills the gaps, but is basically the season 6 opener now instead of the season 5 finale, oh the irony!

That's what I get out of it.

I also want to see the new Season 5 Blu-ray cover as well!

And this just came out too: http://www.entertainmentearth.com/prodinfo.asp?number=BBP09202#.UlnY2CYo6Hc

Dark Horse Comics will release an Art of The Venture Bros. book and Season 5 hits DVD and Blu-ray in March.
They also said that they are currently working on the sixth season and hope to debut it in January 2015.
To help tide fans over, there may be a “Venture Bros.” special in Fall 2014.

That... kicks... so.... much.... ASS!

P.S. The Archer Panel went great too.

Okay, Venturoos. Here's what ya get for the Extras, at least on the DVD version. I felt it was a little light, but that's just my opinion. Deleted Scenes (as always) - Some are B&W sketches with the dialog, others are animated with the dialog. Ghost in the Pro-Blem - An extended view of the distorted images of events from the Pro-BLEM's point of view. Maybe there are some clues hidden in it if you like frame-by-frame advancing. Maybe not. Sirena Goes Off... - Cristin Milioti ad-libbing way more dialog than the script calls for. Poor Rocco. Promo - Basically the season 7 promo. Maybe there's Easter Eggs to find. I haven't done any extensive searching yet. If anyone finds any feel free to post them here!
