Poker Night 2 Release Dates

For those of you interested in Telltale's upcoming Poker Night 2 (starring Brock Samson and some other guys/dogs/robots) the studio announced the release dates for various platforms today via a series of tweets. If tweets aren't your thing I've compiled all the info below for you (since I assume that's your thing):
  • The XBox version will be purchasable on XBL Marketplace, worldwide, on Wednesday, April 24th (tomorrow!)

  • The Steam version (which you can pre-order now for $4.99) will unlock this Friday, April 26th. Buying it gets you both the Mac and PC versions.

  • The Playstation 3 version can be purchased on the PSN store in North America starting next Tuesday, April 30th

  • For those in Europe with a Playstation 3, the European PSN store will have the game on Wednesday, May 1st (though that may change).

  • And finally, for iPhone/iPad users there will also be an iOS version in the AppStore, though the release date is not yet known, but if you were holding out for that, there you go.
For more info and screenshots check out Telltale's Twitter.
I'll probably end up getting this, but I'm pretty curious how Jackson and Doc feel about this. Not to suggest that they have beef, I just thought something like this might warrant a livejournal update.

Getting this tomorrow on my 360... just b/c of Brock.

It sucks that there are no Venture avatar items to unlock for thew 360 version.
But PS3 has a sweet Brock wallpaper to unlock.

Oh well.

Xbox 360 avatars get the Orb, and your avatar finds it inscrutable and generally useless.

You are correct good sir about the ORB, and also Jackson Publick was involved with making the game.

Also Brock says that Helper is getting another new body in the game.. we shall see.

I got this game for 360 and altough all the Venture stuff is great, it lags and has frozen twice now, and it froze so hard I had to reset my 360.
Also none of the mouths match the dialouge, and as I said it lags and glitches.

Not really worth the $9.99 until some updates and patches are issued.
And TTG is notorious for not fixing serious bugs.
Pass this up unless your a hardcore Venture-roo.

Or try it on other systems first.

Update: Just wait til it's five bucks instead of ten if you can.

Still, a great game even with all the issues!

Okay, Venturoos. Here's what ya get for the Extras, at least on the DVD version. I felt it was a little light, but that's just my opinion. Deleted Scenes (as always) - Some are B&W sketches with the dialog, others are animated with the dialog. Ghost in the Pro-Blem - An extended view of the distorted images of events from the Pro-BLEM's point of view. Maybe there are some clues hidden in it if you like frame-by-frame advancing. Maybe not. Sirena Goes Off... - Cristin Milioti ad-libbing way more dialog than the script calls for. Poor Rocco. Promo - Basically the season 7 promo. Maybe there's Easter Eggs to find. I haven't done any extensive searching yet. If anyone finds any feel free to post them here!
