A friendly reminder, still a day and change to try and win those DVDs signed by Jackson & Doc by making a (no doubt) hilarious comic. Also you have a chance even if you're a third party and have to get into this Ross Perot style because two of them are given to people who didn't win! Also don't forget to help out and vote for your favorites (or sabotage your competition). That giveaway ends at midnight pacific (3am eastern) time tomorrow.
Oh and on top of that there's still two days (and change) to win an official Mantis-Eye mug. That contest only requires you enter your name (or reasonable approximation) and email, so it's easy to enter! That giveaway ends at midnight eastern time, which is 9pm pacific on November 27th.
Aside from that have a great Thanksgiving if you are celebrating it, and if not, have an awesome Thursday anyway!

I started watching the Series over, from the beginning.
It's weird watching the first season now; I watch them with some regularity anyway, but now, after seeing the latest episodes, The Animation seems.....not great, but the humor is far more subtle, and rely's more on the viewer to accept how funny a situation is as a whole, rather than just the jokes themselves.
I.E. a ghost that just stands there screaming, a Disney-esque stroke victem. We just accept all the crazy now, so I guess the scenarios have to just keep escelating to keep it fresh, so it makes sense. I mean, we just accept the Venture world as a place that CAN have super-science, magic, and superheros.
In the first season, it seemed like that world was much smaller than it is now.....Just a pointless observation. Nov. 26, 2010, 3:31pm
