Heroes & Scientists: Slightly Belated Round Three
Moving day delays and all, but round three is finally up! Round two was mostly blowouts, though we did see Al sneak by Jonas Jr. though now he has to face Brock who has gotten 87% or better in the last two rounds. Hank & Dean vs. Dr. Orpheus also promises to be an interesting one. Remember, one vote per hour, abuse it as you see fit!

hey guys why don't you..votefortheboys...go...votefortheboys...vote....votefortheboys.... vote for hank and dean otherwise known as the boys? Okay I know it's a dirty tactic but there getting curbstomped by adults and... damit I don't want one of "them" to win alright? I have no probelms with the OSI guys or Orpehous, in fact if they fall I WANT orpheous to win. But first brown widow, then jefferson(I was pulling for Al but I know he can't do dick against brock). I know they'll make it.

Well, here was my reasoning for round 3:
^ Brock vs Al ---> Brock wins. Period.
^ Shoreleave/Mile High vs HELPeR ---> Shoreleave/Mile High win. In Rounds 1 & 2, I voted HELPeR believing that his no-nonsense robot assassin skills would be effective against the IMO less competent adversaries. Shoreleave/Mile High, however, have formal training as secret agents (and they seem very competent at their work), which I would assume includes disarming killer robots. And as I assume they possess no emotional attachment to Rusty's toys, HELPeR doesn't stand a chance.
^ Hank/Dean vs Orpheus ---> Hank/Dean win. Orpheus has the advantage of supernatural powers but I believe he would let his heart get in the way of defeating the boys and he would either concede the fight, or the boys (Hank convincing Dean) would take advantage of Orpheus' weak moment.
^ Hunter Gathers vs Rusty/Hatred ---> Hunter wins. Doc is mostly useless (we're goin' full Nerf on this guy) and while I assume Hatred has the advantage of being a little younger, he is incompetent compared to the more ruthless and professional Col. Gathers.
Even if the boys defeat Orpheus, they're going head to head with A) Rusty/Hatred (who would just make them go to their room for daring to back-sass their dad), or B) "No Mercy" Gathers. Oct. 22, 2010, 11:14pm
