I think you forgot the Ladyhawk/ transformation part being a reference to the movie 'Ladyhawke' with Michelle Pfeiffer and Rutger Hauer. Where Hauer transforms into a wolf and Pfeiffer a hawk.

You forgot that they used a different end credits theme in the season 1 finale ("Two angels go to the heavenly skyyy" etc)

Nice job. Two things- the scene where Brown Widow stops Rusty's taxi is a reference to the famous opening of the '67 Spiderman series (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4o29VoxtsFk, about 15 seconds in). It's a great series, if you haven't seen it.

Second thing is minor but in the character credits you have Underbheit as Underbheir. Small spelling thing but may want to get it anyway. Good job otherwise.

Oh, and there's going to be a Spiderman musical on Broadway soon, so that might be why Brown Widow was so musically inclined.

The typewriter Dean and Rusty use is an IBM Selectric, the coolest typewriter ever before computers.

The character Fat Chance also reminds me of a character from the Flash maybe ten years back called "Chunk." Chunk was an ordinary big, fat black guy who had a black hole in his abdomen, so he could eat endless amounts of anything without ill effect.

And I see on his blog that Jacksib Publick says there are more songs come this season. Makes me wonder if they aren't considering a Venture Brothers muscial themselves.

If there is more than just Hatred's song to/about Princess Tinyfeet....then I might be getting tired of the musical stuff (Dr. Venture's musical being by far the best....it was sublime).

You're tried of a potential 5 minutes of singing in eight episodes?

Personally I won't be happy until we see Prof. Impossible, Phantom Limb and Baron Underbheit singing three part harmony (and Ringo on drums)

maybe theyre going to do something like deathklok live. get an hrs worth of animation and tour with it. they can make more money in a week than a year of slugging it on computer in ny. not at liberty to discuss season 5. so ...maybe...
personally would like to see ghost robot doing a monotone song about being a man machine with some kraftwerk type blips behind him. oh i would so cry a river.

That'd be awful yet awesome. What we need is Brock, 21, and Monstroso singing a rock ballad.

You forgot about Brown Widow's comment that he was in "The Sound of Music" as a kid. This is a reference to actor Nicholas Hammond who played Friedrich in the 1965 film version of "The Sound of Music" and later went on to play Spidey in the live action show from the late 70s "The Amazing Spider-Man."

Doesn't the silent bear remind you of the Friday the 13th knife work and acting of Jason? That was my impression that's who they were parodying. The clothing of the bear is pretty bloody like Jason too. First time we've seen Phantom Limb get a little frightened also.@@--

Can't resist being a pedant I'm afraid. Underbheit's first name is actually spelled Werner, and not Verner.

Okay, Venturoos. Here's what ya get for the Extras, at least on the DVD version. I felt it was a little light, but that's just my opinion. Deleted Scenes (as always) - Some are B&W sketches with the dialog, others are animated with the dialog. Ghost in the Pro-Blem - An extended view of the distorted images of events from the Pro-BLEM's point of view. Maybe there are some clues hidden in it if you like frame-by-frame advancing. Maybe not. Sirena Goes Off... - Cristin Milioti ad-libbing way more dialog than the script calls for. Poor Rocco. Promo - Basically the season 7 promo. Maybe there's Easter Eggs to find. I haven't done any extensive searching yet. If anyone finds any feel free to post them here!
