The Sketchbooks Are Alright
With the end of Comic-Con comes the end of the Mantis-Eye Comic-Con Giveaway which means no more free sketchbooks! While that's lame for all but the four lucky folks who won, I do have some bonus news for the rest of you. For only ten measly dollars (plus an additional three for shipping) you can have your very own sketchbook complete with sketch of your choice. Not only that but you'll be supporting an awesome artist and guy who helps bring Venture Bros. to life, which would be pretty cool of you.

I read on cnn.com on Sunday that an attendee was stabbed, and I was thinking "What the hell?". It seems some guy felt another guy was sitting too close to him in a room for a panel and he stabbed him with a pen just below the eye. The stabbing victim was taken to the hospital while the stabber was arrested and charged with aggravated assault and assault with a "deadly weapon". He was described as "wearing a blue Harry Potter shirt". Somehow being sent to the San Diego County Jail lock-up in a Harry Potter shirt doesn't sound like the safest thing to do.
