Oh Hey, A Venture Bros. Panel!

Oh man I totally tricked you guys! Okay not really, the schedule just isn't on the Comic-Con site yet (likely tomorrow). Jackson just let me know that there will in fact be a dedicated Venture Bros. panel the day after the Adult Swim one (so, Saturday the 24th):

Just saw your newest update. In fact, we ARE doing a dedicated Venture Bros. panel at SDCC this year. And it looks like Patrick Warburton and James Urbaniak will be joining us. That's right, Doc and Brock together again for the first time. It all apparently goes down at: 12:00-1:00 Indigo Ballroom at the Bayfront Hilton (across from the convention center)

That will be an awesome one to see. I'm totally jealous of everyone going!

Update: IGN has a more complete schedule for those interested. Thanks Robert!

I know- he hardly got any screen time this half. Hope he's more than just a 'featured guest' or something like that.

Just to put things in perspective:

Season 1 end: October 30, 2004
Season 2 start: June 25, 2006
Wait: 1 year, 9 months

Season 2 end: October 15, 2006
Season 3 start: June 1, 2008
Wait: 1 year, 9 months

Season 3 end: August 24, 2008
Season 4 start: October 18, 2009
Wait: 10 months

Season 4 end: December 13, 2009
Season 5 start: September 12, 2010
Wait: 9 months

This is actually the shortest wait ever for a new season

But it's not a new season! It's just the second half! This is getting stupid!

A better measure is:
Season 1 end: Oct. 2004
Season 2 end: Oct. 2006
Wait = 2 years

Season 2 end: Oct. 2006
Season 3 end: Aug. 2008
Wait = 1 year 10 months

Season 3 end: Aug. 2008
Season 4 end: Dec. 2010
Wait = 2 years 4 months (with 3 more episodes)

So the wait time for the makers to make cartoon gold is pretty consistent. I don't think there is anything to complain about. I really hope they announce that Venture Bros. will be picked up for a 5th and 6th Seasons at ComicCon.

Exactly! Three more months and this would've been an entire year of waiting in the middle of a season. This isn't getting stupid. It got stupid a while ago and now It's getting crazy. It's crazy, Mr. Monday! Crazy I tell you!

Well part of the reason for the long wait between S1, S2 and S3 is AS too so damn long to green light a new season as they didn't seem to be too sure they had a winner here. S4, and what is now S5, was basically a given, as I'm sure S6 will be if Doc and JP have more VB juice in the tank.

Yeah, I remember those long waits early on. This was the only place you could go before JP had his livejournal.

Okay, Venturoos. Here's what ya get for the Extras, at least on the DVD version. I felt it was a little light, but that's just my opinion. Deleted Scenes (as always) - Some are B&W sketches with the dialog, others are animated with the dialog. Ghost in the Pro-Blem - An extended view of the distorted images of events from the Pro-BLEM's point of view. Maybe there are some clues hidden in it if you like frame-by-frame advancing. Maybe not. Sirena Goes Off... - Cristin Milioti ad-libbing way more dialog than the script calls for. Poor Rocco. Promo - Basically the season 7 promo. Maybe there's Easter Eggs to find. I haven't done any extensive searching yet. If anyone finds any feel free to post them here!
