Season Four Continues On August 22nd

While I can't give you a specific source, a ton of people have mentioned Adult Swim has run some bumpers saying that season four's second half (sometimes called season 4.2 or 4.5) will commence on August 22nd and end December 5th. For those of you breaking out your calendars there are sixteen Sundays between those two days (including those two days) which means the final eight episodes will be spread over twice as many weeks. When the gaps occur and at what frequency remains to be seen, but there you go.

The painful wait until Season 4.2 just set in. The promise of toys helps though.

I thought the whole deal with splitting the season in half meant 8 consecutive episodes and 8 consecutive episodes. Oh well.. spread out Venture Brothers is better than no Venture Brothers. But ugh....August. Maybe the finale is Christmas themed?

I saw the bump on [as]. I couldn't believe we have such a long wait between 2 parts to a season. The time is so long it might as well be two 8 episode seasons rather than 1 season. I was really hoping for June being full on season 4.2. Oh well. I'd rather have a long wait between episodes than the show be canceled.

an 8 month gap. I can understand the extra time for production, but it is difficult to sustain interest with a gap like that. I may just wait a few years till the DVD is out. Very sad

AUGUST!!!!!!!! WTF? I thought there was going to be a SHORT break and I was honestly expecting the season to pick back up any day now. If we don't get a new episode until August, I'd call that season 5. Like Bryan said though, the toys will get us through until August.

It's like, why didn't they just go all out and make two 13 episodes seasons and make us wait a year between them? Meh.

Sounds like we all heard the same source, because I was under the impression of spring as well. Everyone was so happy that we'd only have to wait about four or so months, but...till August? And then all the way to December? It really does feel like a whole 'nother season.

I thank God we get more Venture at all, but still depressing there's no other way to speed it up...

yeah I'm really not seeing the benefit to 4.1 & 4.2 if the gap between is so long. I'd have honestly preferred 13 straight, with perhaps the last airing in February or March. Considering Pinstripes & Poltergeists didn't really seem like a season finale, it really just feels like one season with a terribly long break, like the mistake LOST made a few years back.

I wish I knew if iTunes is continuing my season ticket for the second half. There used to be a way to see your subscriptions, but I can't find it anymore. On the other hand, I used to get an email when the season was complete, and I didn't get one for season four.

I have the season pass too and it apears to be active still. On the upper right hand corner of iTunes you will see your account name, cleck on that and select account management. In there you'll see Manage Passes.

Okay, Venturoos. Here's what ya get for the Extras, at least on the DVD version. I felt it was a little light, but that's just my opinion. Deleted Scenes (as always) - Some are B&W sketches with the dialog, others are animated with the dialog. Ghost in the Pro-Blem - An extended view of the distorted images of events from the Pro-BLEM's point of view. Maybe there are some clues hidden in it if you like frame-by-frame advancing. Maybe not. Sirena Goes Off... - Cristin Milioti ad-libbing way more dialog than the script calls for. Poor Rocco. Promo - Basically the season 7 promo. Maybe there's Easter Eggs to find. I haven't done any extensive searching yet. If anyone finds any feel free to post them here!
