Adult Swim Shop launched a pretty novel idea today, a build your own DVD feature. Using this tool you can build a custom DVD with 110 minutes of shows you select and a custom cover and DVD art. I was hoping to put together some kind of 'best of Venture Bros.' collection with the top five episodes (seen to the right), but with each episode clocking in at over 22 minutes you can only fit four on there. Still, it's a pretty cool idea for $20 and includes free shipping.

This sounded super-awesome until I checked out the DVD/cover art available. I hope they add more because right now the options are ugler, uglest, and WTFaretheythinking?? D: That was one thing I could never get into was Adult Swim's need for random, hilariously bad graphic design (the website aside, because it is AMAZING).

So far they don't have anything available that I can't get on iTunes cheaper. If they had the Xstacles episodes (or even unaired eps) I'd get that.

Okay, Venturoos. Here's what ya get for the Extras, at least on the DVD version. I felt it was a little light, but that's just my opinion. Deleted Scenes (as always) - Some are B&W sketches with the dialog, others are animated with the dialog. Ghost in the Pro-Blem - An extended view of the distorted images of events from the Pro-BLEM's point of view. Maybe there are some clues hidden in it if you like frame-by-frame advancing. Maybe not. Sirena Goes Off... - Cristin Milioti ad-libbing way more dialog than the script calls for. Poor Rocco. Promo - Basically the season 7 promo. Maybe there's Easter Eggs to find. I haven't done any extensive searching yet. If anyone finds any feel free to post them here!
