Quick Toonzone Interview

Toonzone put up a Comic-Con interview with Jackson and Doc with nothing too in-depth, though there's some nuggety goodness in there:

Toonzone: So has some time passed?

Jackson Publick: Yeah. I think the premiere is 9 months out of the last episode of last season. But how do they develop? Doctor Venture takes a more active role in trying to train Dean to be a super scientist like himself.

Toonzone: And Hank will be more of a badass like Brock?

Jackson Publick: Hank would love to be more of a badass, but no one loves him enough. Dermot loves him enough.

Toonzone: What about Dermot?

Doc Hammer: Fortunately we're bringing Dermot back.

Not to seem ungrateful for all the hard work that Jackson, Doc and the crew have done...but I have a feeling I'm going to get roundly sick and tired of Sergeant Hatred's voice, particularly now that's he's probably going to have a ton of screentime as the Venture bodyguard.

Which brings up another important question- is The Monarch going to be arching Rusty again? And how would Hatred work out as a bodyguard in that situation? He seems like more of a team player when it comes to action taking.

I'm thinking the Monarch probably will be arching Dr. Venture...I mean, Rusty's been legitimately assigned to the Monarch now, according to Doctor Girlfriend.

And since the Season 4 opener takes place 9 months after "...Stays Together", he'll probably be settled into the job for the most part.

Or I could be completely wrong lol

I'm glad that Doc and Jackson are being responsible with the changes that come after the last finale. Most shows are so quick to reset everything. Plus I'm interested to see how the boys grow without Brock and more of an influence from Rusty.

I'm a big fan of Dean/Triana.

That being said, I'm delighted by Jackson and Doc's responses to the first question. They know their characters, and they aren't going to get derailed even if the fans want it. Awesome.

I'm with you. While I think it's fine for Triana to find Dean cute and Dean to be infatuated with her.......any kind of successful relationship between them would be a poor fit. I think it'd be great if they went on like 2 real dates (off camera) and Triana ended it.....seeing how Dean reacts to that would be hilarious.

Okay, Venturoos. Here's what ya get for the Extras, at least on the DVD version. I felt it was a little light, but that's just my opinion. Deleted Scenes (as always) - Some are B&W sketches with the dialog, others are animated with the dialog. Ghost in the Pro-Blem - An extended view of the distorted images of events from the Pro-BLEM's point of view. Maybe there are some clues hidden in it if you like frame-by-frame advancing. Maybe not. Sirena Goes Off... - Cristin Milioti ad-libbing way more dialog than the script calls for. Poor Rocco. Promo - Basically the season 7 promo. Maybe there's Easter Eggs to find. I haven't done any extensive searching yet. If anyone finds any feel free to post them here!
