Full Toyfare Interview Online

Hey, remember when I mentioned that ToyFare had an interview with Jackson and Doc? Well ToyFare just informed me that they put up the entire interview online for your reading pleasure. It also includes a bunch of early artwork from when the Venture boys were but a gleam in Mr. Publick's eye. I'm told this art is different from what's in the print magazine, so if you want to see even more original, old-school art and sketches you should still grab that issue of ToyFare.

Very nice! I actually learned a lot. And a lot about what the Season 3 DVD is like. Glad that they're going to put more Phantom Limb in this season. I was waiting all of Season 3 for them to do something with him. I wonder who the mentioned but unseen character they're doing an episode with is. Perhaps Nat King Cobra?

Yes, awesome interview, I did learn a lot.
Although I am a bit... ehhh... disturbed by the fact that "uncensored" covers black boxes as well. I was fine with those...
I didn't mind the bleeps either actually, but oh well...

Haha, speaking of the DVDs, I was just checking bestbuys website, and they list the DVD as fullscreen. Since Williams Street says widescreen and I'm assuming there's only one version of the DVD, I'm assuming BB's mistaken? Also, Best Buy lists it as in stock at my local locations, so I'm assuming they're just waiting til the 24th to sell it. That means I won't have to go on the 25th like I was planning since I figured they wouldn't have it, as they often don't for stuff like video games I buy there, until the day after release.
Which is good, because after that interview, I'm all excited about Venture Bros. again, and can't wait to get that DVD/Bluray.

Probably the best interview Jackson has ever done. Really a good read.

I'm excited as hell about the DVD, the uncensored shit's gonna be hilarious. I wonder if the brief period where Jonas Sr.'s dong isn't Killinger's neck will be uncensored. That's some freaky shit right there.

I'm also glad the season premiere (in 2010) will be nine months after "Family that Slays Together." Give this series some room to breathe! And: more self-contained stories? Hell yes. Sounds like they're learning from some of the (serious) mistakes of season 3.

Thanks, Jory! It was a blast getting to talk to Jackson for so long, and I'm glad Venture fans are digging it.

BTW, the scene you are referring to is totally uncensored on the DVD, in living color. Be warned...

Okay, Venturoos. Here's what ya get for the Extras, at least on the DVD version. I felt it was a little light, but that's just my opinion. Deleted Scenes (as always) - Some are B&W sketches with the dialog, others are animated with the dialog. Ghost in the Pro-Blem - An extended view of the distorted images of events from the Pro-BLEM's point of view. Maybe there are some clues hidden in it if you like frame-by-frame advancing. Maybe not. Sirena Goes Off... - Cristin Milioti ad-libbing way more dialog than the script calls for. Poor Rocco. Promo - Basically the season 7 promo. Maybe there's Easter Eggs to find. I haven't done any extensive searching yet. If anyone finds any feel free to post them here!
