Animation World Interview With Jackson and Doc

Cool interview with JP & Doc over at Animation World Magazine. As always you're provided with some insight into the series (season three's outcome and what might happen in season four) as well as some interesting tidbits about season four's format:

One big change for season four is that it's being split up into two sets of eight instead of one set of 13. "The first eight should be on the air this fall," Publick offered. "We're just finishing making those. We're going to write for a while and start our production again in the summer to hopefully get the back eight maybe by the following summer. So you get three more episodes and you get stuck waiting six months in between them, which is better than the year we usually had to wait."

So that's something I didn't know anyway. Enjoy!

Huh, that's interesting. Extra six month wait is lame but it's totally worth it if there are 3 extra episodes, especially if the break between season 4 and 5 is going to be really long.

I miss No. 24 and I'll be happy with JP & Doc so long as they bring him back somehow.

I don't think so, I like that they're sticking to their guns on 24's death, I confident that they'll use it to make the story that much richer.

Agreed. I think 24 is definitely going to stay dead, and I don't think he will "haunt" 21 as someone else suggested, but I do think we'll see him in flashbacks.

Prediction for season 4: it opens with some emotional montage a la season 2, with 21 trying to accept the death of his closest chum. Hopefully the music is just as good.

Yep, look how much screentime Rusty's dad has gotten, despite being corporeally challenged.

Okay, Venturoos. Here's what ya get for the Extras, at least on the DVD version. I felt it was a little light, but that's just my opinion. Deleted Scenes (as always) - Some are B&W sketches with the dialog, others are animated with the dialog. Ghost in the Pro-Blem - An extended view of the distorted images of events from the Pro-BLEM's point of view. Maybe there are some clues hidden in it if you like frame-by-frame advancing. Maybe not. Sirena Goes Off... - Cristin Milioti ad-libbing way more dialog than the script calls for. Poor Rocco. Promo - Basically the season 7 promo. Maybe there's Easter Eggs to find. I haven't done any extensive searching yet. If anyone finds any feel free to post them here!
