JP has an update relaying his thoughts and hopes on the episode, which apparently was originally planned for last season but due to Cremation Creek becoming two episodes it was pushed back to this year. I get how he could be worried that two eps out of three that feature not a lot of Venture could turn some people off, but there was so much in those episodes that I didn't mind...
I'm glad that the shirts are on the way soon, but I wonder how this week's shirt will look... colorful, huh? That kind of rules out a Quizboy shirt (at least of the model worn by White in the episode), and my other guess (OSI) isn't particularly colorful either... maybe a shirt with a logo for the university? but it'd be odd since we didn't see anything like that in the episode... One final guess: a Hunter Gatherers shirt... Jun. 15, 2008, 4:08am

I'd never heard of a "suffering bastard" before last night, but apparently there are two different cocktails that go by that name. One is based on gin and brandy, the other is made with rum and orange liqueur. The second one sounds more in line with Rusty's tastes, in my opinion.

I think I agree with him, another flashback episode right after two other episodes with flashbacks in them might have been too much. I love to see Billy Quizboy and Pete White in an episode, but this one wasn't all that great. I think it was just too much backstory so early in the season and not enough Venture brothers. You've got too have a lot of action right off the bat, then bring out the slower paced episodes. Start out strong, mellow it out and get some more storytelling in, then crank up the action by the season finale.
