Update again over at JP's page with more info and news on season three production as well as the usual array of new and improved backgrounds along with a somewhat somber shot of what appears to be a cave with a bloody and tied up person who somewhat resembled Jonas Venture Sr., although it's impossible to make out his face entirely, he has the right color hair and his clothes match some we've seen the late, great Dr. Venture wear. And of course since VB is never a show to skimp on backstory, I'm sure this will be fully explained.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure thats Jonas Venture Sr because Jackson said that he is introducing a plot line he never expanded on in season 2. Jonas Venture Sr was hardly ever mentioned in the 1st or 2nd season and his death seemed to have a big impact on Dr.Venture so maybe we will find out how he really died. Season 3 is looking even better than the 1st and 2nd seasons. I just hope they do more with Dean. Not only has he not had any real character development, he has never said or did anything that is either funny or important to the plot of the episode. It seems like the secondary characters like Dr.Orpheus and The Monarch have more of an influence on the show than he does..............................

i think dean is one of the funniest characters on the show, but his stuff is way more low key funny then out and out belly laugh funny.
the scene in crematon creek where he answers his wrist communicator made me laugh because he answers "Dean... Dean Venture."
there are only 4 people who use those things, and all of them know you and are your family.

Season three, Gonna be tits! But I gotta' say, I don't like how the Compound* seems to look smaller from the inside this season, but Jackson and Doc have never Failed in the past, So I'm not going to go off on a tangent about that probabily will turn out better than anything in Venture Bros. Ever has in the past.
Really lookin' forward to it. More Dean? no, I say more Watch and Ward. And as somebody mentioned at the end of last season, I hope we see The "Prosthetic Limb."

Is anyone curious about if Kim (triana's friend) ended up being a super-villaness? I also wonder who is brock's first closest thing to a father is. (he said that hunter gathers was the 2nd closest thing to a father he had). But mostly I hope to see more Order of the Triad stuff.
