Everyone Is a Winner!

Except you. Unless you happen to be Justin Epperson, who is the proud winner of the season two DVD. Now if I would only remember to actually mail the stupid thing to him, well that would be sweet (I'm hoping this update will help that). Anyway, everyone curse/congratulate Justin on a job well done! He answered enough questions correctly and his e-mail address actually worked (which is more than the first actual winner can say) so he rules! Also just in case anyone is wondering, I curved it so anyone with 13 or more answers correct (regardless of which 13) was entered in the final drawing. Next time I will try to make it slightly less tricky, but not too much, because what's the fun in that? You can view all the answers and stuff if you want. See ya!
All hail the Champion, Huzzah!

I wanted to win that damn contest but some of those questions were fucking hard. I only got two wrong so I was probably in the final drawing. I'll be pissed if I was the one who didn't win because my e-mail was fucked up. Mike, you should add another poll with the topic being "Which character would you like to see more of in Season 3??" Put all Main, Secondary, and Reaucurring characters. Personally, I'd vote for Dean, Pete White/Billy Quizboy, Swifty and Killinger

Who do I want to see more of in Season 3?

Kim (Triana's friend). Because she's freakin' hot.

Myra. Need more backstory on whether she is "Mommie Dearest" or not.

G.U.A.R.D.O.! Must know what the acronym stands for.

Roy Brisby and The Monarch/David Bowie. Panda tustle take two: this time it's personal!

Swifty and Hector Molina. I hope Dr. Orpheus has been saving Hector's mail.

And of course Dr. Henry Killinger, Truckules, and Sgt. Hatred.

I want to see more with Kim... the best two episodes of last season IMO (VEN and Asassinanny) had her in them, so it stands to reason that Kim = awesome episode...

I'd like to see more of Torrid and The Order of the Triad. I think it'd almost be funny to just focus on them for one episode, but make it like "we will resume your regularly svheduled program next week" and totally make up a new intro for them. It'd be hilarious... I'd also like to see more Venturestein. PROSTITUTE!!! Oh yeah, and I wanna know what happened to Jollyrancher52 and Col. Gathers. Wouldn't it be cool to have a whole episode dedicated to JJ, Sally and Rocket?? Have it be like "A new family of Adventurers" or something like that. Who knows... AND WHAT EVER HAPPENED TO THE ACTION MAN?!?!?!?!?!

I like Doc Kneezy's idea for the poll. I want more Alchemist (because anything that Brendon Small voices is hilarious), more White/Quizboy, and way more weird villains like Truck-ules ("that guy is almost a truck!"), Iggy Pop, "the guy dressed like Taco" and Sgt. Hatred, except different ones.

I vote no more Killinger, because that would get old and annoying real quick. Plus, Jackson and Doc are obviously creative enough not to just re-hash old characters and plot lines (see "The Simpsons" seasons 13-???).

If I had to vote for one person though I'd vote for Dean because he is the ONLY main character who hasn't had that much development through the show. The only episodes in my opinion that gave Dean character development were Eeny, Meeny, Miney... Magic! and Showdown at Cremation Creek, Part II. Thats why those are my favorite episodes from both seasons. The only time they focus on Dean is to place him in a screwed up situation. I would like to see what Jackson and Doc could do with him.
I'd also like to see more Triana because she's plays very minor roles in the few episodes that she's in. I would like to see more of her interaction with Dean and I would like to see more of her personal life.

Me too, I've been lurking for too long and sinking into apathy but here's a crumb... Jacksons sight was updated back on 6/12, nothing big but a great pic of Urbaniak and Warburton horseing around :http://jacksonpublick.livejournal.com/

man, just got back from two months of tree planting to find i missed a sweet contest. well, i guess i'd be more bitter if i hadn't already bought the dvds...
anyways - agreed, dean is pretty much my favourite, and almost all of his character development has been sort of anecdotal/accidental. i want a dean venture mystery extra special episode.

Finally someone agrees with me about Dean. I'd would like Mike to take advantage of my great idea and put a poll up. He should also make a poll that states "Who is your favorite character on The Venture Bros so far????" Put ALL the characters in the show on the list. Again I'd vote for Dean because he's someone I could relate to. No, I've never been taken hostage by ghost pirates but I've gone through a lot of what he has. An older and stronger brother, girl crushes, hating the life-style my parents created for me, and getting no respect from anyone. To me he's the most realistic character on the show.

Okay, Venturoos. Here's what ya get for the Extras, at least on the DVD version. I felt it was a little light, but that's just my opinion. Deleted Scenes (as always) - Some are B&W sketches with the dialog, others are animated with the dialog. Ghost in the Pro-Blem - An extended view of the distorted images of events from the Pro-BLEM's point of view. Maybe there are some clues hidden in it if you like frame-by-frame advancing. Maybe not. Sirena Goes Off... - Cristin Milioti ad-libbing way more dialog than the script calls for. Poor Rocco. Promo - Basically the season 7 promo. Maybe there's Easter Eggs to find. I haven't done any extensive searching yet. If anyone finds any feel free to post them here!
