Venture!

So, it's DVD day! And in celebration of the season one DVD and season two starting up in less than a month, I've redone the site yet again! Lots of changes, as you can see. I've switched to an entirely new news/update engine which is a lot easier to manage and far less sloppy. You probably won't notice too much from your side of things though.

I've done away with user accounts as well. Sorry if that upsets you, but they weren't super popular anyway, and really added no benefit. The new comments are simple and you just enter a username and optional URL and post away. The guidelines remain the same, so behave! Comments have also been reset for now. I still have all your old ones, but I'm not going transfer them over just yet. Maybe in the future though.

Aside from that, there are still some kinks to work out here and there, but everything seems to be in working order, so enjoy! I'll have more on the DVD later today (tomorrow). Also I hope you've noticed the promos for season two AS has been airing. Looking pretty good.

Sweet! I really love the redesign, and that's a big compliment because usually I hate change. Keep up the awesome work!

Fuck within the first week...I got it on the first day it came out. When I went to Best Buy and laid eyes on that shiny black case with that bad-ass skull on it my heart stopped. When I seen the price when the cashier slid it across that barcode thing I felt like god. After months and months of waiting I finally have the DVD firmly in my grasp. The art work inside it is fucking bad-ass Dean and Hank look gangster, Dr. Venture looks like a pimp, Brock looks like some serial killer covered in blood. But there is one tiney tiny intsy whinsy problem with the DVD......WHY THE FUCK IS IT CENSORED!!!!!!!DAMN. I had my heart set on hearing the Monarch Curse on the episode "Return to Spider Skull Island" or on the episode "Are you there god? It's me Dean" But beside that the DVD is fucking awesome and it makes a fine addition to my Collection which includes: Samurai Champloo Volumes 1-7, Mission Hill, Chappele's Show, and The Fresh Prince of Bel-air Season 1. God has answered my prayers yet again. I even came home with a fresh pair of Locs. Damn I feel good now.............

Okay, Venturoos. Here's what ya get for the Extras, at least on the DVD version. I felt it was a little light, but that's just my opinion. Deleted Scenes (as always) - Some are B&W sketches with the dialog, others are animated with the dialog. Ghost in the Pro-Blem - An extended view of the distorted images of events from the Pro-BLEM's point of view. Maybe there are some clues hidden in it if you like frame-by-frame advancing. Maybe not. Sirena Goes Off... - Cristin Milioti ad-libbing way more dialog than the script calls for. Poor Rocco. Promo - Basically the season 7 promo. Maybe there's Easter Eggs to find. I haven't done any extensive searching yet. If anyone finds any feel free to post them here!
