Potential Season 4.2 Start: September 12th?

Astute observers (hi, Hardy!) in the last update noted that while Venture Bros. episodes are absent from August, there is a single episode on the schedule, namely Pinstripes & Poltergeists which airs at 11:30pm on September 5th. With that being the season 4.1 finale, it's possible Adult Swim may be airing it a week prior to the start of season 4.2 as a kind of refresher. Purely speculation for now, but it's certainly possible.

I gave up thinking of this as season 4.2 or 4.5, or whatever they wanna call it, and now consider it as an 8 episode season 4 and then an 8 episode season 5. While I appreciate JP and Doc wanting to give us a 16 episode season 4 vs. the previous 13 episode seasons, it seems they bit off more than they could chew (and swallow). I think I would prefer it if they reverted back to the 13 episode format and be able to see them all over the course of 4 or 5 months or so. This gap is a serious momentum killer.

Ya, then just wait till it does start.

We'll get a few episodes in and then AS will say "oh sorry guys, no new Venture Bros this week. Instead we have to push this crappy show of ours/run a marathon."

Nope. Not a chance. If it's taking them this long just to get enough of the 8 episodes of 4.2 ready to start showing them, they can't handle 13. Even when they finally start showing 4.2, they'll probably still be working like crazy putting the finishing touches on last few episodes to get them finished in time, and that's even with a foreseeable gap somewhere in there. They planned on 8 and have the story arcs set for 8, so I find 13 more episode highly unlikely. They even stated, back when 4.2 was supposed to start in August, that the season finale wouldn't air until sometime in December.

Okay, Venturoos. Here's what ya get for the Extras, at least on the DVD version. I felt it was a little light, but that's just my opinion. Deleted Scenes (as always) - Some are B&W sketches with the dialog, others are animated with the dialog. Ghost in the Pro-Blem - An extended view of the distorted images of events from the Pro-BLEM's point of view. Maybe there are some clues hidden in it if you like frame-by-frame advancing. Maybe not. Sirena Goes Off... - Cristin Milioti ad-libbing way more dialog than the script calls for. Poor Rocco. Promo - Basically the season 7 promo. Maybe there's Easter Eggs to find. I haven't done any extensive searching yet. If anyone finds any feel free to post them here!
