JG Thirlwell Performance At Prospect Park

If you're into the music of JG Thirlwell/Foetus/Steroid Maximus (and why wouldn't you be?) and will happen to be a reasonable distance from Prospect Park in Brooklyn, NY on June 18th, you may want to head over there for a performance by Steroid Maximus which is Thirlwell's "rarely heard Steroid Maximus large ensemble, a big band/exotica mini-orchestra". And as if that wasn't enough, foetus.org has even more good news:

JG Thirlwell will be performing his Steroid Maximus project as a twenty piece band with brass section and strings at Prospect Park for the Celebrate Brooklyn Festival on June 18. Steroid Maximus will be performing the Ectopia album and selections from the score of The Venture Bros. Rain or shine, and it’s free - mark your calendars for this once-in-a-lifetime show!

(sighs) 'kid just can't catch a break with a scoop. as i mentioned yesterday, gonna be freagin awesome, many of the Steroid Maximus tracks being performed were used throughout the pilot, and anyone wanna hold me to that red mocho cooler, will see what i can do!

well, i feel like a bit of a heel now! but thanks, glad to be able to contribute something. fans need every bit of Venture Bros. goodness they have a chance of checking out...and season 4.2 not that far away!!

Okay, Venturoos. Here's what ya get for the Extras, at least on the DVD version. I felt it was a little light, but that's just my opinion. Deleted Scenes (as always) - Some are B&W sketches with the dialog, others are animated with the dialog. Ghost in the Pro-Blem - An extended view of the distorted images of events from the Pro-BLEM's point of view. Maybe there are some clues hidden in it if you like frame-by-frame advancing. Maybe not. Sirena Goes Off... - Cristin Milioti ad-libbing way more dialog than the script calls for. Poor Rocco. Promo - Basically the season 7 promo. Maybe there's Easter Eggs to find. I haven't done any extensive searching yet. If anyone finds any feel free to post them here!
