Happy Holidays, Venture Fans!

While the slow wind down of The Venture Bros. continues, we have at least one fresh piece of content we can enjoy before the show's final bow in the form of a movie. Over on Ken Plume's Patreon you can find the latest Venture Bros. holiday song: "A Spaceman Came Travelling". As an added bonus there apparently was a song in 2019 as well, which I somehow missed. That one is "Last Christmas" as sung by Shore Leave and Shallow Gravy. Ken has also graciously provided a handy zip fie of every Holiday-related song from years past, so you can spend a few minutes listening to all of them. Thanks to Jake for informing me of this. Everyone stay safe out there!
What a wonderful gift Jackson and Doc have once again given us. Thank you so much informing us all of the Venture News once again Mike. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to everyone!

As a wise man once said (multiple times, actually)- Boom, yummy! Great to see them keeping the fires burning even as things are winding down. Have a great whatever you're having and don't let the Krampus get ya.

Happy New Year to All!
May 2022 bring Joy and success to all Ventureoos everywhere!
Thanks, Mike, for all your hard work over the decades that VB has been a best-kept secret of American Anime. We all really appreciate it! Here's to hoping that the Series Finale lets us all enjoy one last hurrah of the VB Universe. And if they're canny, they may leave the door open for more, if Jackson and Doc want it to go that way. Just sayin... I know, there is a time and a place, and please, no sharks jumped, but if there are more stories, I hope that someone will find a way to tell them.

I find it hard to believe that no one has mentioned the Robot Chicken Season 11 finale with the Venture Bros Season 8 scene at the very end: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bKH-J3f2RkM

According to Billy Smolder of Ventureverse Guide Doc Hammer has stated that there will be a Christmas song this year (2022). I guess we'll know when it will drop when it drops. Seeing as this'll likely be the last one I wonder if it'll be an ensemble like Venture Aid?

I tend to doubt it- the only reason we got Venture Aid in the first place was because they were in the middle of recording and everybody was already coming in anyway. My guess is something that references the first one (like a Bing Crosby song or something winter-y from Bowie) and/or really heartfelt, like "I'll Be Home For Christmas".

So long as it's not "Nestor, the Long-Eared Christmas Donkey" I'm good. I was recently at my dentist's office in the chair getting a cavity filled and she had just finished drilling when that song came on. I wanted to ask her if she could drill some more to block out the friggin' song!

Great to hear that we are going to be given another gift from Jackson & Doc.

I haven't heard any update in months concerning the series finale, I'm still praying it gets funded/made.

The series finale is definitely happening, but at the usual speed of development of VB :-). Last update I heard was in October, and they were shooting for a 2023 release both on Blu-Ray/DVD, and streaming.

I think the voice talent has already recorded their parts. This is the normal cycle from what I understand: writing, voice recording, animation (the longest part), editing, and release.

The VB series finale was part of a three-movie deal. Aqua Teen Hunger Force recently dropped their finale. No word on when Metalocalypse will release theirs.

That matches my understanding. I was just concerned that the rug could be pulled out from under them with Discovery/Warner Bros./HBO deals creating uncertainty in many projects.

I'll eagerly buy the blu-ray as soon as it's available.

I get it Man, this is a HollyWood Promise. The more time goes by, the less it means. I too hope they can 'close the loop' and make this happen before some schmoe says, "What? I don't remember that! Let's cancel it all!"

Okay, Venturoos. Here's what ya get for the Extras, at least on the DVD version. I felt it was a little light, but that's just my opinion. Deleted Scenes (as always) - Some are B&W sketches with the dialog, others are animated with the dialog. Ghost in the Pro-Blem - An extended view of the distorted images of events from the Pro-BLEM's point of view. Maybe there are some clues hidden in it if you like frame-by-frame advancing. Maybe not. Sirena Goes Off... - Cristin Milioti ad-libbing way more dialog than the script calls for. Poor Rocco. Promo - Basically the season 7 promo. Maybe there's Easter Eggs to find. I haven't done any extensive searching yet. If anyone finds any feel free to post them here!
