With these past two episodes, it’s my belief that The Venture Bros. has transcended mere action/comedy and capably reside within the realm of high drama. There are so many stunning twists of fate and moments of unexpected revelation that it would silly to mention them all. However, as a singular product, this story marks a significant evolution in storytelling within the Venture universe. Should events permit and were this series tapped for a theatrical installment, I have full confidence that Jackson and Doc could deliver a work worthy enough to be considered great art.
