It was left ambiguous, for season 3! All we can do is guess. I'm betting Dr. G's pregnant - I think that baboon uterus is fully functional!

Dean wasn't hallucinating, he was bored - so he started to daydream. Apparently when they boys get separated their mental defects get more extreme. Hank's behavior gets increasingly risky (a la jumping off the Venture Compound roof in his bat costume), and Dean loses touch with reality (the X-2 is the flying dog from Neverending Story).

Perhaps Dean's a/v hallucinations and Hank's dangerously impulsive behavior are the product of Myra's extra psycho genes.

Well, Doc Venture hallucinates too, although that might be due to his pill popping habit. The appearance of giant detective boy was a lot like the appearance of Doc's father on that space station in season one. So maybe Dean is getting it from his father, not his mother.
