Was Hatred reading "The Day After Tomorrow"? That's not a book, unless a novelization of the movie. Appropriate given the storm, however.

Oh, and a prior question I had is again answered. "Doppelganger much?" Even got directly mentioned here.

Finally, big plot hole. Dean leaves the tie on the door (nice callback to the Doc) to warn off roommate, but leaves the door unlocked???

There is a novel titled 'The Day After Tomorrow' by Allan Folsom, but it has nothing to do with the movie of the same name. He is likely reading a novelization adaptation of the film. Note the "Used" sticker on the cover. Likely an acknowledgment that they are borrowing a plot element from the movie.
