Premiere is officially January 31st, the [AS] press release went out today.

Just another typo by Adult Swim with regards about January 17th suddenly being the premiere.

Yeah, it's clear that they wanted a fresh break with season six, they are making sure the diehard fans know exactly who is 'officially' dead after the most recent episodes.

And Eric said J.J. is definitely dead too. Don't expect him back.
Confirmed (from the creators and trailer) that he works better as a literal ghost from the past haunting Rusty... in hologram form.

And I just recalled in Gary's Venture Bros. podcast before season 5 he say's that, "nobody names their kid Doc". Except for that kid in The Shinning. So "Doc" was just Eric back then. Got it.
