This episode is the third time the guys have walked back developments in Operation PROM. The first two were in Cleansuit when Hatred's reconciliation with Princess Tinyfeet is aborted, and then Gary, after being drafted in Sphynx is left behind when Sphynx returns to OSI. The third development was when Brock said he was through with Mol and now she's going to be a regular "comrade." It's like PROM was written to be the series ender but once they got renewed they've had to deny a bunch of stuff to make the series on-going.

I think they had already been renewed when PROM was written.

I was thinking exactly the same thing; they gave Brock something resembling closure and gave Hatred a happy ending.
