So....does Molotov still have her Black Hearts? Or did they all die? If the latter, you'd think she'd be pretty pissed off at Dr. Venture.

There were only ever six, not including Mol and Hunter. They're all gone.

They were all turned into bugs and then killed!

I know, which is why you'd think she'd be hating Dr. Venture!

I thought she was bluffing in the Prom episode. If you remember Brock goes into sphinx base to make it with one of the escorts and that's when Molotov attacks. The girl is genuinely afraid and Molotov tells her that if she wants to live that she should run away. These things indicating that this actually was a prostitute and had no idea who Molotov was.

Watch TFTST,ST or BOTF,HOS. They're clearly the same characters. She was afraid because her boss had pulled a knife on her for leaving her post and (almost) seducing Brock.

This was my interpretation, as well.

Come to think of it, they appear in both parts of TFTST,ST but not in BOTF,HOS.

On his LiveJournal page, Jackson has indicated that the girls in "Operation: P.R.O.M." were indeed Molotov's Black Hearts:

"Let's further remember that these were not innocent sex workers, but heartless mercenaries paid to murder everyone in the room for money, in order to spring a known felon from custody."

I'm not sure how to properly link things here, but the web address is as follows:

I know Jackson said that, and he co-wrote the episode but I think think he's wrong.

The scene in Sphynx HQ doesn't make any sense unless the escort was just a hooker.

Mol says the escorts were supposed to start helping everyone at Midnight. It was after midnight when Brock arrived at the hanger and no one was killing anyone. They were turning into bugs but even then they were no apparent attempt to kill anyone.

And in Cleansuit one of the escorts survive till morning in Rusty's bed. Apparently, again without trying to kill him.

Saying that the escorts were her Blackhearts seems like a dodge to get Brock to leave her alone while she prepares her escape.

Watch The Family that Slays Together, Stays Together parts 1 and 2. They're clearly the same women.

The girls don't start executing anyone at midnight, sure, but I think we're meant to conclude that they don't because Rusty's Spanish Fly is working on them. After all, these women--who before showed no interest in Doc, Billy, etc.--are now having a great time, dancing, and in the case of Pete White, doing other things! The joke, I think, is that Rusty's special proprietary blend works for a while but then has a tragically unexpected side-effect.

As for the bug-girl that survives, I think the joke is that the Spanish Fly concoction is still working on her. And that Doc may have been so drunk as to have sex with her, six legs, wings, antennae and all!

I know. Maybe Doc got in the S.P.H.I.N.X. mind eraser before the Monarch blew it up. Let's hope, anyway.
