I hear a lot of people on here talking about plotholes. "why would Hunter do that?"

My lore knowledge may be fuzzy, but it's always seemed that while Samson looks up to Gathers as a father figure, it's not exactly mutual. I suspect Gathers intentions may be dubious. Hasn't he misled Brock in the past?

I wonder if Cardholder and Doe weren't pawns to be sacrificed, that the real mole was Hunter.

Mol did try to kill Shoreleave, no doubt about that, and she dropped a plane on Brock. Are they double agents too?

You could argue that the real purpose of SPHINX was to eliminate Guild competition. If you don't join the Guild, you die.

I don't think so. Mol held onto her distraction until she had to face Shoreleave, and then used it immediately. And Mol always throws everything at Brock because she knows he can take it. Brock is her only equal. It's basically foreplay between the two of them.

What was shown was that Skypilot and a bunch of other sphinx agents popped up out of the fake Monstroso and pointed guns at them. Unless all those guys were triple(quadruple?) agents then at the very least Cardholder and Doe are in some secret jail somewhere getting tortured.
