Very nice. I honestly liked the original way better but this works well too. A few notes though- the Faraday Cage is a real thing, as seen here at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Faraday_cage. Don't know if it's necessary to mention but Hatred's lines to the out of phase intern are pretty directly from A Christmas Carol. The intern says 'Kill me!' though- not 'Help me!'. The interns mutating into two distinct classes is a reference to the Eloi (the white cleansuits) and Morloks (the orange cleansuits) from The Time Machine. The sirens at the end of the day are a reference to this as well. Also, Slagathor is another name for an extremely ugly girl. It originally came from an end credits scene in She's Having A Baby but most people would know it from Scrubs.

One other thing (sorry for so many notes)- all the green cleansuits being called Tom or some variation thereof is a reference to a derogatory term field slaves used for slaves that worked in the house or acted really subservient to their master (like in Uncle Tom's Cabin), which fits in with the Roots scene in the E-Den.

Except that the Morloks were eating the Eloi, and Orange Class was eating Green Class, not White class, so Green Class is more like the Eloi.

Sgt. Hatred borrowed Dean's copy of The Time Machine in season three and mentioned about the Morloks eating the lazy Eloi.
