I actually liked the animation for this one mostly because I thought that since Shallow Gravy had made the bio themselves, it should look different. I can totally see see Dermott lording over the whole cinematography and editing stages of the bio to make it as kick ass as his delusional mind thinks it needs to be.
Long story short, I think the animation was done this way for this episode for a reason.
