Im having a very hard time getting into Superjail. It's the Jackson Pollock of animated shows. And I keep asking myself, why is JP putting time into this?? And then I remember the time Hoffman and Beaty did "Ishtar"

I am watching season one again and it is very hit or miss. Like I really liked the very first episode ad one or two after that but then it starts to become formulaic and is less interesting. It's at its best when it's just insane, nutty animation with ridiculous shit happening. I am hoping they mix it up a little in season two though, but it's worth noting that the last three episodes of season one were ones he worked on, writing-wise (though not as the primary writer) and those are all really great (this clip is from one of them).

But yeah, certainly not for everyone!
