I remember watching the pockets of S1 episodes I hadn't seen after watching all of Seasons 2 and 3, and I distinctly remember (and a recent viewing with my girlfriend only confirmed this) absolutely hating "Eeny, Meeny, Miney...". I don't know what it is about this episode- the crushingly slow pace, the mediocre jokes... just my one of my least favorite episodes overall.

"Ghosts" on the other hand is definitely one of the series first transcendent episodes, and is rightly acknowledged for it. Plus, the smorgasbord of David Bowie references in the first three minutes helped sell the show to my dad, who is now a hardcore fan, so that's always a plus.
