WTF, the monarch-is-a-swinger thing makes absolutely no sense. He's been ridiculously overprotective of his wife for the entire run of the show, constantly jealous over her sitting on some guys lap or phantom limb masturbating on her clothes, and now they're swingers? Not to mention, Gary and the Mrs. kissed due to non-sexual stuff? WTF?

They've referenced Monarch and the wife swinging before. It was a throwaway joke in an episode I can't remember, but it didn't come out of nowhere. Besides gary's arc this season wasn't about falling in love with Dr. Girlfriend, it was about finding himself after the death of his best friend.

Loved the episode. It had the mix of hilarious and epic that only the Venture Bros. at it's best can provide. There better be a season 5.

The whole the Monarch is a swinger thing has been said many times in the series already. I think "The Buddy System" and "Return to Malice" both mention it...and I know there are other examples.

He freaked out over Venture and Phantom Limb because he hates those guys. Also, he wasn't there. Guys she had been with before, same.

He believes he was a part of a drunken threesome, he doesn't know that only two of them were drunk and one was unconscious. You saw Dr. Mrs.' face when it first came up, if the Monarch knew what really happened he would not be okay with it.

Sheila has a lot to answer for, damn. If you think about it, she's thrown her share of people under the bus over the series.
