is it just me or did it seem like there was alot of acting out of character? Hunter caring about Treister, Dean swearing at authority, etc. They spend episode after episode developing these characters just so they can swerve it all in the finale?

I agree to a point. Triana has the confidence and power to save herself from this (and after Dean's actions at the prom, I doubt she'll be so bogged down with not wanting to hurt his feelings anymore), even if it's just through restraining orders.

That's what makes it worse. Dean could become a stalker and then Triana may have to use a bit of the old sorcery on him. Then that escalates and you got Ventures Vs. Magic, and so on ...

Yeah that would be really sad. And noone ever said that Hunter didn't look up to Treister, he's Hunter's mentor presumibly. Hunter didn't come just to stab Treister to death, he just didn't want to be hunted like a manimal anymore and he certainly didn't know he would hand over the OSI and shoot himself into space.

The theme for the entire season has been growth. Dean swearing at authority is, for him, a sign of growth. As for Hunter caring about Treister, Hunter has actually shown a lot of care for a lot of people, beginning with Brock.

On the otherhand Monarch just blowing off Gary kissing his wife, because they're swingers..... that was out of character.

Yeah, the scene on the Secret Bridge was definitely my favorite of the entire episode. I've always had a soft spot for Treister, as little as we've seen him, and Hunter is my favorite character on the show. It was great.
